"We received great service from ServicePro Carpet Cleaning...I called on a Wednesday and Troy was responsive and was available for an appt on Friday. He did a great job cleaning our two large sodas and six dining room chairs sharing Before and After photos throughout the process! He even got a large red wine stain out of one of the sofas! Thank you, Troy!"

"I just purchased a new home in Georgia. The carpets needed to be deep cleaned, sanitized and deodorized. Carpet Transformers did a fabulous job on my carpets. They looked brand new and there was no order left from the previous owners. I was handling this whole transaction remotely as I was in another state. The whole process was smooth, They were professional, on-time, responsive and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them."

"I highly recommend Heaven's Best carpet cleaning service! They did a fantastic job of cleaning up after my dogs and stretching out my slack carpets. The team was professional and efficient, and they left my carpets looking like new. I was particularly impressed with how well they were able to remove tough pet stains and odors. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service I received and would definitely use this company again in the future."

"Rob was a pleasure to deal with.  Great communication from first contact.  On time and performed good quality work for the same price he quoted me on the phone.  I had half a room of carpet pulled up because we got water in our basement.  Rob reinstalled and stretched the old carpet, repaired some of the padding and repaired an area where the seam was ripped.  I also had him do a few extra things like tighten up the carpeting on my stairs while he was here.  Highly recommend and would use Rob again for sure! <br />"

"I needed a very inexpensive carpet for my basement and found a good deal in the store. I had a few problems with the sales person (he scheduled the wrong date for measuring even though I confirmed more than twice, he submitted pricing for a more expensive pad than I said I wanted of 3 choices he gave me) but overall in the end, once I got the correct estimate, it worked out fine. The installation was essentially free due to a promotion they had. The installers they sent were right on time, worked hard and completed the job in less time than anticipated. I couldn't see where the seams were (and I looked hard based on the drawings!). They did a great job and cleaned the area up nicely so I didn't have to do a thing. I would go this route again. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Duluth, GA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
