"In the spring of 2018, we contacted Winterbloom because we wanted to remove the front lawn and fix a drainage problem in the entry area. Phil and Serenity created a new landscape for our front and in addition made improvements to the side yard that we hadn’t even considered. The design and installation all went well, and we enjoyed the new plantings that replaced a sloping lawn out front. The drainage issue we had lived with for years was solved with a lovely dry stream bed and paths were added. Rock retaining walls that built up an area in the side expanded our usable space and the plants have added color and interest to a shady area. Unfortunately, one of the new grasses in the front area turned out to be a bit of a bully and by this summer it was obvious that it was crowding out some of its neighbors and blocking access to the water meter. Phil and Serenity came out promptly after we contacted them and agreed that the grass was not suited to the location. The following month the grass was removed and replaced with lavender at no additional charge. We are looking forward to seeing it grow into the space and live harmoniously with the other shrubs and flowers. We were very pleased with Phil’s response to our concerns and the commitment to our satisfaction with Winterbloom’s services. We highly recommend Winterbloom for landscape design and installation."
