They did not do an in home assessment of the items to move and I did my best to accurately provide the details. The final to total was over $800 more than the estimate. They also were ready to repack or protect any objects improperly prepared for the journey. Was quoted by several other moving firms in the $2000 to $3000 range. Potomac Movers would not give me a firm quote but based it on time, which had me worried -- with a delivery 70 mi away -- it could end up higher than the other quotes. As it turned out, they were 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of other firms. Am glad I trusted them."
