All prep and excavation was done in a day, including installation of eighty feet of drainage pipes and tying in several gutter downspouts. Work was started just before 4th of July weekend, and was finished during the next week. Rick, the owner was on-hand during the paving day and did a lot of the work himself. Its been a few weeks since we started using the driveway, and it looks great."

"Eddie was great to work with from start to finish. To be honest, he wasn't the highest quote, nor was he the lowest quote. We picked Eddie because of how thorough his explanations were. During our first consultation: Unlike many of the other companies that we meet with, Eddie took the time to listen to our concerns and explain the entire process. He stayed as long as was necessary to make sure we felt that our questions were all answered. We liked him right away because of his thoroughness as well as how personable he was. It didn't seem like he was in it to "nickel and dime" us, rather, he explained two scenarios that could have happened- a bar price, and then a more costly one if the base of our driveway wasn't up to par. Right before the job: Eddie called us to give us a couple of days notice prior to ripping up the driveway. He was punctual with both the day and time that he said he would come. He was able to take out the driveway on a Tuesday, and then came back to repave on the Monday after, so we ended up being unable to drive on it for a week and a half (need to wait three days after). We thought that timeframe was very reasonable. Even after Eddie got paid and finished the job, he still spent time explaining his work to my husband. He also discussed the care and maintenance. He took pride in his work and seemed to really stand by it. In the end, we were charged the base price. We are very happy with our choice of Eddie and Blue Diamond. "Very well. The owner provided me with an estimate within a few days of my calling them, and left it in my mailbox. After I called to schedule the service it was a matter of about a week before he complete the work. Our driveway looks good and he thanked me for the order and thanked me after I paid him"

"Disappointed with service, but looks ok.  Completed job in time noted.  When I spoke to gentleman for a quote, John, stated they would evaluate base material then determine if gravel would be needed.  Apparently it didn't in their opinion.  However, what I saw was a lot of sand and round stones as an old base that to me should have been removed/replaced.  It tracked in my garage and house for about four weeks.  Two neighbors using different contractors right now have had old asphalt removed and gravel bases put down. <br>  I think it was a very poor choice to not lay gravel down and probably an expense I paid for, but didn't receive.  Also, I found that a shrub next to the driveway was burnt, don't know if it will survive.   <br>  This contractor also removed a pay loader bucket of lawn on the left side of the driveway for water drainage purposes and left it just a dirt spot.  I had to call John and inquire about it.  He said they don't do landscaping, but would deliver some topsoil and seed.  I got the topsoil.  "

"Mr. Stanley gave us reasonable quote, and the crew showed up a week later. On the first day they removed the old asphalt, smoothed the area, and laid a good gravel base. The second day they paved from top to bottom, including an additional parking space near the street, and they also expanded our back-up area at the top. He used a specific type of asphalt for steep slopes that will help with winter traction. We've been through our first winter with the new driveway, plowing and shoveling is so much easier! I would highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again."

Considering the over-charge of original work, I was very pleased with Al's price, And he included sealcoating the main driveway (short, one lane) which had needed it. For the extension driveway, Al's team prepared area, dug deeper, asphalt binder applied with asphalt finish top. It is solid. Everything was professional and went smoothly. I am very pleased and would easily hire again and recommend him."
