"We had noticed several leaks. Joe came out, cleaned off our roof, and told us that it was time to replace the roof. I had 2 other companies come out and both their estimates were almost twice what Joe quoted. When the team removed the felt and worn shingles, they discovered 11 pieces of plywood were severely damaged. They also had to support 5 beams. The team was thorough and efficient. They did an absolutely beautiful job and the work was first rate. They finished everything in 1.5 days (working 12 hours the first day) to beat a large rain front. We couldn't be happier and would rehire them and recommend them to anyone! They also took down an old antenna, trimmed a few tree branches, and helped repair some damage caused by a squirrel. "How did it go - perfectly! I had gone in one of my spare bedrooms upstairs to get something (I rarely have reason to go into the room very often) and noticed some popcorn ceiling matter on the carpet. Looking up I saw a water mark on the ceiling the size of a basketball. I called Authentic Restoration and Scott Bullard came out the following day. He went in the attic to look around and then got on on the roof and noticed the seal to an attic vent pipe had been dislodged. The vent pipe is right next to my A/C unit in the attic (and right above the water mark on my ceiling) and Scott concluded that someone working for the company that does my annual A/C maintenance must have pushed on the vent pipe to cause it to move and unseat the seal on the roof. Scott pushed the seal back in place and resealed it with silicone. He also did a complete roof inspection with pictures and showed me the many problems up there and suggested a new roof (roof is approximately 22 years old so the new roof recommendation was not surprising at all) . He's working up an estimate for my review. The house call, inspection and reseal work was done at no charge. Scott was very friendly, professional and courteous. I offered to pay for his time and travel but he refused. To say I was impressed is an understatement. Thank you so much."
