"I obtained four bids before settling on Summit to do the job.  Stuart was by far the most thorough.. taking the time to walk me around the house and explain his services and options. He was great at explaining different types of paints, price options, and helped me with color choices.  And he was great at pointing out items that my last painter missed (such as caulking or minor repair). He even pointed out things that were outside of his scope of work but that would help me maintain my home better-- such as ensuring gutter downspouts were in place, and that the concrete around the house was periodically pressure washed. <br /> The end result was done ahead of schedule and the end result was impeccable.  I inspected the work carefully and I don't think I spotted a single mistake or missed spot.  I met the crew on the last day.  They were friendly, worked efficiently, and spent extra time to make sure the work was done as perfectly as possible.  They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards.  Except for the great paint job, I couldn't tell they were ever in the yard. <br /> I interviewed other 'A' rated painters on Angie's List.  I was happy at the time with my last painter from a couple of years ago.  But Summit is definitely a notch above.  They're the best painter I've ever worked with but also one of the best contractors I've worked with, period. <br /> <br />"
