"I went through like 3 other chimney groups including Chimney Sweep Masters and they all gave me conflicting information. Emerald City Chimney on the other hand was honest and thoroughly dismantled all the b******* the others tried to sell me. That’s what happens when you actual experienced workers take the lead instead of salespeople. It took a while to figure out exactly what the best approach would be, but in the end I got a job done for like $650 when the others wanted like $3000. I bought a custom fit chimney cap myself for like $200 I think and then had emerald city retrofit and install it for $450."

"Everything from end-to-end was professional, patient and detailed. We had lots of time with sales and design to see our options. They guided us through decisions we didn’t even know we’d have to make. The whole house was immediately warmer and the installation was so smooth. (At least from our side. I hope the installers felt the same.) The installation team told us each day what they would be working on tomorrow and worked around a couple of tight and high areas with no issues. They took extra steps to protect the surrounding areas and provided great information about how it was going. They took time to save some special millwork around the front door on the inside that we weren’t sure could be saved. It looks great. "This review is long overdue in my praise of Washington Energy Services for their customer service, pricing and workmanship ! My first interaction was in 1999 when they installed windows throughout my house. They are still in excellent condition. I might note I called them over 20 years later to inquire on how I could repair a broken slider and they sent someone right out, charging a very nominal amount to repair it. In 2020, I needed to replace my hot water tank, and the extremely knowledgeable Christy presented several options, answering my many questions. I settled on one with a booster that seemed to best fit my needs. Finally, in December 2023, I purchased a new gas furnace from WES. I had a minor issue with a fan switch and they responded quickly to rectify the situation. Within the past two months, I seemed to be having an issue with my thermostat (something they had not installed), and the manager, Greg, came out twice with his crew to explore the problem. Today they installed a new thermostat FREE OF CHARGE! Their excellent response and customer service is beyond any company I have hired. And I particularly love that they are family owned and have been around for decades. Their employees seem to be there for the long haul, which speaks highly of the owner. I refer all my friends and family and I won't go anywhere else for services that they offer. Many thanks to the staff I have interacted with over the past 25 years!"

"I called Washingtons Best Decks and Siding, for a build bid on my new deck project, and they answered right away. Cameron came over with good ideas and pictures of decks that they already built. I told him I was considering Trex composite decking, because I wanted really low maintenance. He recommended Trex Transcend and I went with the Tiki Torch color. I accepted his bid on the spot. It took a while to get scheduled since it was the end of July. But when they were ready, it only took four and a half days to build my 12' by 20' deck. His crew is excellent and the finish project blew me away. It was so nice to have a project that came together so well in the end. Cameron and Nick came by the next day to make sure I was satisfied and to make sure the crew had cleaned up the work site. A job well done."
