"Ron did a fantastic job in rebuilding my front porch!  It was a difficult project in that someone else had rebuilt it about a year ago and really did a very, very poor job, using incorrect materials and having little construction skills.  Ron took the whole thing down, and started by strengthening and rebuilding the framework itself (it's attached to the front of my house).  Throughout the entire project, he explained about different materials he could use and methods he could do, and asked me what my preferences were.  He even brought over different types of wood and stains so I could see them in person and make a choice.  I have an older home, and several construction companies told me they either did not want to or didn't know how to rebuild my porch. Ron never hesitated in accepting this job and in fact stated he enjoyed doing this type of work.  He always kept in touch before he even started the job to let me know how close he was to being able to start it. He always showed up on time on the scheduled days, and never stopped working while he was here.  His craftsmanship is outstanding.  I am so pleased with my beautiful newly rebuilt porch, and would highly recommend Ron without any reservation.  Ron's main concern is that his customers are happy with his work. The quality of his work is second to none.  He also charged a very reasonable price for the work that he did.  I have other projects around my house that I will certainly call Ron to do. "<p>As part of a larger remodel and repair operation, our contractor installed a new front door purchased from Home Depot. The install was not properly aligned and would not close or seal properly. The contractor did a great job in other areas such as framing, siding, deck building etc., but properly installing and aligning a door is a special skill that not everyone has. It is hard to find a real door hanger but after a search we found Tom. He was able to take apart and reinstall the sash and door and we now have a beautifully operating and sealed front door. I would highly recommend Tom for any door problems you have, he is a real craftsman.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p>"

He introduced us to a building material we had not considered but which met all our no-maintenance needs. He showed up on schedule and completed the work ahead of schedule. He is an excellent communicator and actively solicits feedback during the job to make sure everything is meeting your needs. We are very picky and Mike ticked off every detail. "Ron did an outstanding job on replacing some of the underlayment that needed to be replaced under the carpet. The damaged pieces were removed and the new underlayment was cut and replaced before I knew it. He also removed the threshold to the outside from that room and sealed the areas where the water might have been leaking. He also installed and metal kick-plate to the front door. I am very pleased at the quality and professionalism of Ron and his assistant."

"We had a really bad ice storm that froze my pipes. They set me up an appointment very fast. Then we had to postpone the appointment due to another ice storm. 2 days later the appointment was booked for the next day. They arrived on time. Daniel explained everything he was going to do, with a reasonable price quote. I watched the job performed and asked questions while he was doing the job. He was very knowledgeable about his job and what he did. I felt very comfortable the job was in great hands. Daniel went to turn the water back on there were more leaks. With a smile and great attitude he fixed those pipes also. Daniel even put back all the insulation around the pipes, buttoned up the place. Talking with Lori, Darla and Samantha in the office I immediately felt like I was in good hands. Highly recommend you all, Thank you so much!"

"We had several interior doors re-painted, many of which were old and in bad condition. These included louvered doors and french doors with windows, not easy to paint. We added some extra work and they gave us a good deal. This company's bid was only slightly higher than the other bid I received, and I'm SO glad I went with Absolute Painting.  From the very beginning, they were so professional.  You not only get high quality painters, but a team with a project manager, and Beth, who helps with color consultation.  Beth is amazing, she makes sure everything is done to perfection and handles all the details you might not think about.  We were supposed to be gone during the painting, but had to cancel our plans so stayed home.  The painters kept everything so contained and cleaned up afterwards so well that it was much easier than I thought it would be. High quality, professional, attention to detail, and did I say how pleasant the whole team was?  All of this makes a difference, and I will definitely hire them for any future painting needs.  They are coming back for a little more follow up work, and I will actually miss them when they are gone!  Who can say that about painters?? <br />"

"Ackerman beat out three vendors for the job, just by having a responsive receptionist with prompt scheduling. They scheduled the repair within a week. I actually forgot he was coming that day, but the plumber came on site, called me before the job started to ask a couple questions / make sure I knew what was happening, and followed up end of day with the final result. Billing was as projected, and invoicing was timely. I will *definitely* be calling Ackerman for anything plumbing related in the future, for our HOA. If there is a slight difference in cost (which I'm not sure there is), it's well worth it for responsive call backs / scheduling, service calls that happen when scheduled, and good communication throughout."

"As the rain moved in last Fall we discovered a couple spots where the metal gutters had rusted through and were dripping causing rust color stains on the fascia boards and siding. Owner Steve Frick came out and gave a bid on just fixing the stretch that was holding water. He presented an option to do the entire aluminium gutter system with a lifetime warranty. After careful consideration we decided to do the job the right way. Unfortunately for me I have a hip system so the gutters go all the way around the house and do not stop. Steve was one of six proposals. While they weren't the least expensive, I saw the quality and value in their service and lifetime transferable warranty backed by a franchise company. When we had hiccups or issues, the folks in the office were quick to make it right, which reaffirmed their philosophy to take care of each customer.
