"Very satisfied with their service, arrived on time. Removed the old ceiling and replaced with the new one. Did a fantastic job on painting and having the ceiling look brand new. Will hire them again for other projects in the house."

"He came and did the driveway 3 weeks later it s peeling, he blamed this on the paint and told me he was getting an warranty replacement, if he did get that replacement of paint it needs to come to me since I paid for it!! Installed baseboards (crappy job) said he still had to finish them. Built and hung the beam (totally screwed up). I was at work and spoke with him on the phone, thought he finished. He told me my mother liked the job so I paid him $1,475.00? The job was not done so he told me he wasn t finished and would be back on Monday. I haven t seen him since"

Customers say: Quick response

"We hired Mike Gowdy to paint the exterior of our home. Best decision ever! Not only did he show up when he promised, but did so every day. That was my first indication that he was a man of his word. He did an excellent job paining. He taped everything up before he began. There was no mess and he cleaned up every day before he left. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Agape. Thank you, Mike for the excellent work. I will be recommending you to all my friends and family"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Eagle Lake, FL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
