"I was in am hurry to get the carpets cleaned for company coming the next weekend. I went with the first contractor who contacted me because I trusted Home Advisor to direct me to the type of service provider I requested, I.e. a chem dry clean throughout with furniture moving by the carpet company. The rep called back twice asking to do the job at increasingly earlier time slots. This was actually good for us so we accommodated him. Only my husband was home when the cleaners arrived and he did not realize I had requested full cleaning under all furniture. The cost for five room sized area rugs and two short hallway rugs, without cleaning under furnishings, was $550 with an unlimited return offer for three years at $225 per return visit. The return offer is great, but the partial cleaning for $550 was disappointing. Also, they used wet Bissell system, not the dry system I requested on Home Advisor. The rugs looked better, but took 24 hrs to dry, not the two hours stated to us. Because the cleaners only cleaned exposed areas of carpet, it took them less than 45 min to do 5 rooms and two hallways."
