"This was a large job which required removal of the old roof - multiple layers of asphalt shingle and cedar shake down to rafters. The house is a large old Victorian with multiple angles and outcroppings, and very steep. There was also a one car garage. As promised, Royal arrived on day 1 - a Monday in 12 degree weather - with 3 dump trucks, several other trucks with men and equipment and over 30 workers. They swarmed over the house and by 10 AM the roof was stripped to the rafters and by the end of the day new plywood, underlayment and shingles had been installed on more than 3/4 of the roof. All work was completed in 4 days. Every night the property was thoroughly cleaned up. Progress was provided during the entire job by sending photos taken with a drone - terrific! Overall we were impressed and pleased with the work and the fact that it truly took 4 days. We had seen other jobs in the neighborhood take 3 weeks or more to complete. You pay for this kind of service - it is not cheap - but it is totally worth it. In addition, all of the workers and the project managers are very professional and attentive to your needs. I'll never have to use them again for this job, but I would recommend them in a heartbeat if you need a roof, gutters etc."

I am very particular as to how things are done, things have to be right or not at all. I found JI Roofing to share in my standards and in some ways they even exceeded them. They even went the extra mile (as I would) by eliminating a hump in the roof due to the house structure as originally built. "I highly recommend Good to Go!! We did a major home renovation this summer. We completely remodeled our kitchen, put in hardwood floors throughout the first floor, re-faced a fireplace, and painted every room. We knew Good to Go was the right company for us as soon as we met Paul. Paul called the day after I requested a quote and he was punctual every time he met with us. He was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and gave us great suggestions and ideas. The price he was quoted was in the middle of other quotes we had received, but we had no doubt he was the person we wanted to work with. Good to Go is a family business and we loved everyone involved with the company. They are all great people who we felt very comfortable having in our home. They did incredible work and we couldn't be happier. They cleaned up everyday when the day was over and they let you know what their plan for the week was. Our water heated started leaking and needed to be replaced while the project was going on and they had a plumber at the house right away for us. We even worked with Paul's son Clark, who is a carpenter, on a custom TV stand. Clark is truly an artist! "Alside did an excellent job with the roof and skylight work. I received three estimates to fix the skylight. All of the companies were professional and reasonable, but Brian at Alside was adamant that fixing the skylight was a poor option because there were multiple layers of shingles so it would not be a clean fix. Instead he suggested replacing the entire portion of roof when replacing the skylight. It was a more expensive approach but the appropriate way to address the leaking skylight. Brian was quite to respond to the request for a quote and he had his team out one week after the initial visit. They completed the work in a single day and the lot was extremely clean when they left. Yesterday, we had over two inches of rain and the skylight had no leaks. I would highly recommend Brian and his team for any of your roofing needs."
