Brian looked closer and said half the roofline needed to be cut out. Instead of just replacing the bad siding, Brian cut out a line across the entire edge so that it would look uniform. He fixed and replaced the flashing and covered it with plastic wood. He recommended this for aesthetics and to help prevent any further degradation. Adding an additional unforeseen cost, we feel that the cost was competitive and fair for the amount of time, material and attention to detail."

"I contacted M and J roofing about a leak. Lous response was quick and after inspecting my roof responded with urgency. I had many roofs installed over the past several years none of which seem to work due to the pitch. The most recent roof I put on was a metal roof, which was the source of many of the problems. After Lou inspected it he told me what needed to be done and after agreeing on the contract he started immediately. They are prompt and professional and both him and his son Nick are two of the kindest human beings I ever met. They told me they'd be here at 8:00 a.m. and they were here before that, they started at 8:00 and we're done by the end of the day. Lou and Nick kept me posted each step of the way and during the removal of the metal roof they showed me what went wrong and explained why it went wrong. In short it was because of companies or people that install roofs that don't care about their work that care about ripping off unsuspecting customers. "Excellent contractor; professional in every aspect of the job. Owner and/or owner's son was on the job at all times to supervise the work although their employees were obviously experienced roofers. They used large tarps all around the house to protect the lawn and plantings and cleaned up the area at  the end of each day. The owner fixed a skylight that had been leaking because of improper installation by the original roofer and used his creativity and custom made flashing to re-install it properly.
They completed the job in two days, (41 squares) so interruption was minimal. In addition they addressed every issue in a pleasant, courteous manner and dedicated themselves to doing the job correctly with great attention to detail. We had an excellent experience with this company and would definitely recommend them.

"Our home is a contemporary with vertical cedar siding. Prior to painting the exterior of our home, the siding needed to be power washed and some minor carpentry repairs to the siding were necessary. Joe, the owner of J. Corrigan came out, explained the process that would be followed, and gave us a reasonable quote. His crew was extremely polite, efficient, and respectful. They spent a lot of time on prep work, which is very important, and we were generally very happy with the paint job with some minor issues. Joe showed up at the job site every day to check on its progress.
