"I used Angie's List to find a Pro in my area to repair damaged shingles after a wind storm. Tony and Nick responded immediately and were able to make the repairs the same day. They were very professional and thorough. They not only made the repair to the roof, but resealed the chimney and nearby roof vents. They also cleaned the gutters at a fair price."

"Wow! Roofers were here at 7 AM and left at 7 PM. New roof done and they cleaned every square inch of driveway, yard and porch. Two gentlemen from the Honduras and one from Mexico. They were the sweetest, most polite and hardworking guys. My roof looks great. Allstate will be installing new gutters in a couple weeks. Highly recommended for price and workmanship. Me and my husband are very happy!"

"Ivy Lea replaced a leaky roof over my sunroom with ...a leaky roof. The roof is under warranty and i have been waiting for nearly 2 months for a water test. i have placed countless calls. clearly honoring a warranty is not their priority."

"DO NOT HIRE-they sealed my driveway on a day that we had a rain storm hours after they sealed it. Before hiring them I expressed my main concern which was the small cracks in my driveway and wanting to make sure that they were covered with the sealer. I was reassured by company that the sealer would fill in and cover them. NONE OF THEM WERE. Terrible customer service-Spoke to owner Mike about it who had an impatient, arrogant attitude with me. I wasted $750.00 on this company- don't make the same mistake!!"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in East Amherst, NY

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
