"Crew hadn't shown on scheduled day at scheduled time. I called, office person called them, then told me they had made an emergency call prior to mine. Hadn't let her nor me know. When they did show up, they couldn't get into the yard with the bucket truck. Started on some other stuff, but then the chipper wouldn't start. Had to leave. Instead of coming back the next day, it was two days. Then they came up with a solution to get in with the bucket for the huge trees (got neighbor's permission to come through her yard). They worked hard and communicated with me throughout the rest of the job. They cleaned up fairly well and were respectful and responsive to my requests. The chipper breakdown wasn't their fault, for sure. The bucket truck issue was the estimator's oversight. But all in all, it was a good job, and I would hire them again."

"I have a 30 year old driveway that has seen better days. It’s not in my budget to have it replaced, so I wanted to find a company that would use hot tar to seal the cracks and then apply a brush-on sealer. I contacted several companies that would not do both of these procedures, and if they did, the price would almost double. I found RDS’s website and requested a quote via e-mail. They promptly got back to me and scheduled a date to come and do a free estimate. The gentleman that did the estimate was willing to hear me out on what I wanted to get done, and took it all into account. The crews that came to do the repairs explained everything, were very quick, and cleaned up after themselves. Long story short, RDS did what I wanted, when I wanted, and for a terrific price! The driveway looks just like I wanted, and it will hopefully last until I can get it replaced."

"It was a real nice bid and they wrote it up very nicely but it was a little bit higher than I wanted. They were real descriptive but it was a little bit out of my price range. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. I think they would do a beautiful job but it was at the back of my house and I really didn't want to spend $2,000. It would have been a different story if it had been at the front of my house."

"It went fine until that was installed grass along the walk did not do well especially along the edge of the walk. The grass is a lighter tone than the existing grass and very sparse along the walk. I called JMar but there was no acknowledgement of the problem. I plan to have our handyman scrape out the clay like soil and put in different grass seed and some topsoil. I hope this will take care of the problem. This was a disappointment that the problem was not acknowledged."

"The Owner Mark Weaver came to our residence and proposed a price. In a very professional manner he described how the project would work. Mark retrived all permits and the project began soon after. He proposed two to three weeks for job completion. The job was completed before the two week period. They were very careful not to damage the lawn. The new block height matched up perfect to the existing one. It passed all inspections. It was a pleasurable and easy experience dealing with Weaver & Son Excavating."
