"I can’t say enough about Everguard Insulation. I live in a two story, 2200 sqft home, built in 1986, which over the past 13 years of ownership has proven to be very poorly insulated. With recent summers getting hotter and hotter, and winters feeling colder and colder, I knew I had to do something. Whole house fan, Check. New double pane windows, Check. Finally, AC, Check. Still, even with all that, hot in summer, cold in winter. I reached out to a number of insulation companies, but was not happy with the responses from any of them, until I found Everguard. I explained my situation, and they suggested two options; 1) Clad the inside of my roof with a radiant barrier, and/or 2) Increase my attic blown insulation from the present 3” depth to 13” depth. Since I already had solar panels on my roof, acting as deflectors of direct heat, I chose to go with the 13” of insulation. It is important to note that I reached out to Everguard in the spring of 2022, and didn’t finally arrange for the work until the fall. Another company might have hounded me for the sale. Everguard just made a few courtesy calls during a 6 month span, just to see if I was still interested. I appreciate that. I can’t stand pushy salesmen. When it came time for the installation, a crew of two arrived and worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, completing the entire job in just over one hour. I can truly say it was the right choice since the house stays warmer on cold nights, and cooler on warm days. Everguard Insulation. The right company, the right price, and excellent work and results. "We hired Pro Insulation about 1 week prior & job completed in 1 day, Jan. 31, 2020. Estimate/inspection performed by co-owner, Michael, who is extremely knowledgeable and offered advice & service that I did not know the attic needed ( we live in an area of high outside summer temperatures [ 110 degrees on a bad day ], but 35 degree and above winter temperatures ). 3 workers arrived on-time with all supplies needed. They prepared the house for repeated entry of workers & bringing-in/taking-out materials. They removed all 1986 old insulation when the home was originally built, vacuumed the attic floor as well as the beam surfaces for old rodent pellets & dust, sprayed entire attic with disinfecting spray, checked the A/C / heater ducting systems for air leaks & taped sealed if needed, they checked for any rodent entry access points and secured them ( I think any access points were found, but two little beasties got in from somewhere? ), installed solid insulation rolls on vertical surfaces, installed thermal barriers on the attic ceiling and then blew-in R-38 cellulose with impregnated boric acid insulation into the attic. The thickness of the blow-in was monitored by placing a tape measure like stick to make sure the insulation was at R-38 thickness. They checked for thoroughness of job quality. They also sealed the exterior chimney-to-attic for cracks and squirted in that foam barrier. They cleaned up the attic, the interior house; the exterior house. Finally, as promised, the other co-owner, Evelyn, mailed us the paperwork to apply for local city rebate as well as the gas utility rebate as well as informing us to check our future 2020 tax preparation for any Federal and/or State energy rebates. Bottom line: I would recommend Pro Insulation highly. The owners are directly involved with the project, completed on-time as promised, workmanship was perfect, and estimate = actual price paid. Full disclosure: I am a repeat Home Advisor customer ( partial re-roof job + repair two exterior iron gates ), but I repeat business with Home Advisor because I trust their vetting system to recommend highly qualified / trustworthy / fair-priced contractors. "After having a new air conditioning system installed, to replace an old inefficient one, we decided to make sure our attic had the correct insulation as well as the appropriate R-value. Since our home was built in the 1950's, the insulation throughout the attic was minimal. We hired Insulation Commandos to survey and provide us with the appropriate solution. The solution involved removal of the old insulation, cleaning the area, and installing the correct insulation based on our homes location. We now believe we can keep our energy costs down and provide less strain on our AC system. Great job team!"

"We had Insulation Nation (Dustin) come to our house to look at our attis insulation; our house was built in the late 70's and I had added more blown-in insulation many years ago. We decided on adding 8" of blown-in insulation to reduce our heating/cooling cost and to reduce the cycling of our HVAC system. They did a wonderful job of sealing any attic leaks, covers for our canned lighting fixtures, built a dam around our whole house fan, added baffles around our soffits, and added the insulation. Nicely done and a professional job. Would recommend using their service."

"I wanted insulation blown in above the ceiling of my condo to lessen the noise from my neighbors above. Darren was very responsive and professional and knew exactly what I was looking for. The crew arrived on time, was very nice, and covered the house in plastic sheeting to protect everything from the incredible amount of dust created by drilling dozens of holes in the ceiling to shoot the insulation. Their subcontractor Robert arrived the next day to repair the holes and repaint the ceilings. He also was able to install can lights in my living room (separate job and quote from the job Attic Construction was doing). During installation of the lights, we discovered that some of the cavities that should have been filled by new insulation were not, due to a problem with the old insulation. One call to Darren and the insulation guys showed up early the next morning to take care of it. Robert the drywall guy and his helper Carlos did an amazing job repairing all the holes, you can't even tell that my ceiling looked like swiss cheese at one point. The reduction in sound coming from upstairs is noticeable due to the new insulation and I love my new lights. Be aware though that a job like this is incredibly messy and dusty but Attic Construction OC made it as easy as possible."

"Rob was amazing! I wanted to get my attic insulated, my house was built in the sixties and had never been updated to current standards. Was able to get an estimate within 2 days and when he came he inspected throughout to see if there were other problems which he found from when we replaced out AC ducts. Estimate was extremely reasonable and was able to get a insulation date the following week. Luckily we were able to get this done before the heat waves started and I already have noticed the improvement on retaining ideal temperature and my AC runs much more efficiently and has to run for less time. "I needed to get rid of my old batts insulation and undergo an attic insulation replacement, but I didn’t know exactly how to go about it. After I got in touch with Attic Insulation Labs and explained my situation to them, they soon sent around an inspector who looked at my attic and made several recommendations to me.
