J&M was created as a business that will eventually be handed down to my sons. The tasks the business handles are those that require general building and maintenance skills. Any skills acquired for these jobs were ones that I learned from my dad or grandfather, both of which were licensed builders. I stand behind all work the business does with a 100% money back guarantee.

I built an entire barn dominium myself, from electrical, infloor heat system, plumbing, framing, drywall, finishing, shiplap, and trim. I am a 22 year member of Ironworkers local 292, I am an experienced welder/fabricator and have held unlimited thickness structural welding certs for 19 years.

We are a Veteran Owned business, accredited with an A+ rating with the letter Business Bureau. We specialize in outdoor decks, gazebos and indoor dream making, i.e. kitchens, bathrooms, basements and specialized wall pieces.

"Jacob is a very hardworking man. That is passionate about the work he performs and pays close attention to detail. Leaves nice clean cuts on painting not all slopped up like I have seen by other people. I have actually now hired him to do further work on my home do to the initial work turning out so well. Thank you for continuing to do a great job. If you want Quality Paint and Home repairs this is your guy."

"Rick and his partner were punctual, friendly and very professional. Our family room has a lot of trim and they took the time to prime, paint and caulk all the trim including the sliding french doors, windows, and bookcase. After that, they sprayed painted the walls. For the most part it was adequate coverage, but there are a few spots that I noticed that could have had an additional coat. I think next time (due to the type of paint purchased) I would ask for there to be a little more drying time between coats. These areas are minor so overall I think that they did  a really good job."

"I had tried installing a new French Patio Door and could not get it to close. I called Swans based on the reviews here. He scheduled an appointment and came down and quickly determined the issue. He took the time to explain why I was having trouble and how he had two options to correct it. He had the door installed within about a couple hours and did not even charge me the full estimated cost of 250. He offered to do the rest of the install work (foam insulation, reattach brick mould, etc) but I enjoy that stuff. I will definitely keep him in mind when I have another project I need help on or someone to do for me

"Derek and Alex installed a storm door for me but not before finding out that my main door needed some repairs on the frame work..They brought it to my attention and the repair was made and storm door was put in..they were very friendly and cleaned up the mess afterwards including removing my old door from the premises..Thank You for a great job done and I would highly recommend them. I would use their services again.."

"Refrigerator was repaired, washer and dryer were written off as a lost or beyond repair due to parts needed for repair no longer in stock, and the garage door was repaired but not covered by CHW"
