"A.B.E. Remodeling completely tore out all old walls, floor, and ceiling in the kitchen back to the "bones" of the house. They took us to a local lumber yard/design center to select the cabinets, and meet with a kitchen designer who works with A.B.E. The kitchen was totally redesigned like new, not just a rehash of what was there before. The range and refrigerator were relocated, and a built-in dishwasher added. Also added a combination microwave and stove-top exhaust, which now vents to outside - so much better than the indoor "recycling" blower. The walls all received new insulation, and extra framing where needed to make everything straight, level, and square. New plumbing and wiring was also put in. New drywall installed and the proper backing board for a tile back-splash. New cabinets were beautifully installed, granite counter top, travertine tile for the back-splash. New doors and a new window were also installed. A small coffee/beverage niche was also added, a suggestion/change prompted by the installers. The kitchen has only one small window, and they were able to make this window kind of focal point of the room. All of the work was done meticulously and every detail was planned and perfectly completed. I attached one photo of the old, dingy kitchen and a few photos of the completed project. It's a world of difference. I would definitely recommend A.B.E. Remodeling with no reservation."
