I’m a family man that has raised 3 kids. I have been doing general handyman services, landscaping, and multiple construction projects for over 20 years. I believe in doing it right the first time. I will treat my customers homes as if it was my own.

"To start off, he didn?t even want to come out to see the bathroom before he started the job. I requested that he come out first to see everything because I really wanted to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted to have done. I was very thorough, even provided drawings and he kept assuring me that he could do what I had envisioned. My husband, who is in the trade, kept telling me to instruct them to do certain things that they were going to overlook. The tile work was not done as I had wanted. I asked for a very small grout line, asked them if they were experience in tile walls, they said they were, yet they would do things that I didn?t ask for and wouldn?t consult me first before they did it. I asked him if he could seal the grout and instead of doing it, he gave me a spray can and told me that I could just spray it on the wall and wipe it off and that?s all I need to do once a year. So then I had to take extra time to do something that I thought I was already paying for. Also, their way of fixing things would be to just caulk over cracks until you couldn?t see them anymore instead of actually repairing the cracks. The worst part about the whole experience was the fact that every time they had to come back out to fix their mistakes, I would get charged for them. I ended up getting billed $5000 more than what I had initially paid and now my husband and son have to re-do the whole thing."

"Initially, I was pleased with the work done...the wait was minimal for them to put me on the schedule. The porch was power washed, repaired, resurfaced and sealed exactly as quoted. They cleaned up nicely too. And the results were like a brand new front step without any evidence that repairs were done. I've had a couple of issues since the work has been done...but the company has been very responsive to my issues. This last time the supervisor personally came and fixed the issues himself. Overall, I am pleased with the repairs to my front porch, and know if there are future issues, they will be resolved."

"During a day when everyone in Pittsburgh was having a leak, they were the only ones to call me back. They came that afternoon to stop the leak and rip out the small area of dry wall. They replaced the part of the roof that needed to be fixed within a week and also repaired the affected area inside the house within a week. I had to call them a few times to remind them to come back to finish the work, but the owner was very sick, so he had a good reason. The job was reasonably priced and they did an A+ job. "We had liked P Squared so much on first job, we asked for help with this job too. They arrived at 7am on the first day it hadn't rained in weeks. Got everything down and cleaned up before we knew it. They even modified our existing garden with some left over Belgium blocks, which we didn't ask for or expect, but were wonderfully surprised. "Steve was thorough in his discussions about the project. I'm usually pretty detailed about projects and think things through. Steve would bring things up that I hadn't thought of and my wife and I appreciated the time he took. He also considered that there were several options for our design to choose from and he walked us through the pros and cons. For example, the way that lights would be spaced on our wall between windows and doors was not technically even, but looked good given the spacing of those openings. Also, he showed us a couple of options for the size and spacing of slats for our roof vent so we could preview it before it was created.
Steve does not run a big company, so you get really personalized service. He is part of the projects as they happen. This also means that his availability to do projects varies. But, he is proactive about his availability and once he starts a job he and his team are on-site until it's finished.
This was our second or third project with him. At the beginning, he installed a sliding door and a pair of doors with sidelights that open onto our patio. These were installed about five years ago and we love them. In fact, he has done almost all the outside work on our house over the last five years, including unanticipated problem areas. Would highly recommend Steve for a job."
