"These folks are WONDERFUL! GREAT! I cant say enough about how well they did. They painted my entire interior, upstairs & downstairs. They're professional, well organized, they went above & beyond. I've owned several house in my lifetime & used painters in the past. J & S are by far the best I've used."

"Evelio was wonderful. He pulled up all the carpet tack strips from 2 rooms. Ceilings, walls, baseboards. He painted 2 bedrooms, an office and kitchen. Very neat, organized, dedicated to his work and is a perfectioist. He did a lot of moving furniture also. Showed up on time everyday. I highly recommend Evelio Chavez for all and any painting you need done. Thank you Evelio!!!! Nancy Allgeier "

"Chris and his team were great. I had them paint our master bedroom including all of the trim work and doors. We have a huge safe in our room and they moved it along with all the other furniture and made sure everything was covered before they started painting. They were finished a day earlier than I originally expected and everything turned out great!!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Eastwood, KY

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
