"Ira sent a team of guys (3) to the house as scheduled and they went right to work. I had cleaned out most of the garage so they were able to start quickly. They used a machine to grind the garage floor to bare concrete. The garage had lots of cracks so they filled them in with an epoxy crack filler. Once this was done and dry they rolled on the base color. They rolled the top coat and threw the flakes on the floor. Scraped the excess flakes off and i think another top coat, can't remember exactly. I went with the Poly Aspartic system since it was a one day process over the epoxy system which would have been 3-4 days. Yes it was a bit more expensive but the results are great and it has a great warranty. IMPORTANT NOTE -  the stuff really smells and since it's in your garage it will seep into your house. Be prepared to deal with the smell for about a day, we left the garage door open a crack over several nights to help with the smell. I could walk on it within a couple of hours and parked the car on it the following day. Looks awesome.About a week later they came to start on the driveway, walkway and lania. They pressure washed one day and started the work the following day. They put down the base coat, we selected a two color acrylic system with a template design. After that the stencil was laid down followed by the top coat being applied by sprayer. This was all done by 2 guys, they'd been doing this for quite some time, you could tell. After the top coat dried they removed the stencil and you could see the design and colors. Once all was cleaned up from overspray they applied two coats of sealer. WARNING.... this stuff smells real bad, worse than the garage!!!! My wife and child had to leave one night because of the smell. All in all the driveway and lanai look great. Have received lots of comments from neighbors wanting to do the same to their house. I'll try and figure out how to add photos here soon."

"How can I explain how impressed I am with Chris and his team at CER Design Build? There are almost no words that describe the combination of craftsmanship, quality, speed, delivery and level of professionalism that this one company has managed to accomplish. I have dealt with many contractors and none have ever demonstrated the level of commitment nor expertise that I've seen with CER. I certainly do not desire to work with anyone else! Thank you Chris for your beautiful designs and helping to imagine my dream home; you have the team and ability to make this homeowner's dream a reality. Thank you!

"Giancarlo (John) came out to the house the day after I called to give an estimate. We had three bids and his was the same as one and higher than another. They scheduled the job for about two weeks after the estimate day and did a great job. It only took about two to three hours for him and his two crew members to clear grass for the curbing and pour the curb. They did a great job with curving the line of the concrete so that it is a very clean job. They used a dye in the concrete so it won't fade and added a design into the wet concrete. I will be calling them back to add more curbing once I finish a patio project at the house."

"Chris Barnhardt is is focused on getting the job done right and with complete customer satisfaction. He was responsive in addressing my input, questions and concerns. This was a challenging job due to the extent of the water damage. I am very satisfied with the results. Mr. Barnhardt was very helpful in scheduling this work around re-roofing that was in progress. The initial stucco removal and reconstruction had to be done immediately and then paused so roofers (different company) could finish and then resumed by Barnhardt to do the stucco work. I was very fortunate to find someone willing to commit to this scheduling and who then delivered on the commitment. ("B" on price is only because his price was about the same as other quotes I got.)"

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Eaton-park, FL

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
