"Otto installed over 1500 square feet of Wisconsin Red Oak in our home. It was such a professional and incredible job. Additionally, Otto had to color match a section that connected to the previous wood floors, and he did this to perfection. Did a fantastic job, showed up on time and finished when they said they would. I have referred Otto to several clients and they have always thanked me profusely. Can’t recommend highly enough!"

"They were excellent. Professional and quick and did a great job. So happy with my new floors!! They checked in at a few times to get clarification and feedback. They even left the remaining flooring materials in case I wanted to do the rest of my house later. I’ll definitely be going with them again if I need floor work in the future."

"Fast and decently priced. Workers were polite as well."

"Amazing company! I had a great experience from start to finish. Thank you!"

"Lloyd did a FANTASTIC job installing our hardwood floors. We LOVE them. We've also had Allegiant Hardwoods come out and buff and coat our hardwoods over the years as well. Always a professional and quality experience from start to finish with Lloyd and Tina and their crews! I will ALWAYS Allegiant Hardwoods for ALL of my hardwood flooring needs! Here is a fun picture of our Select Oak hardwoods and a Frenchie butt ;D"

"The installation was done very well.  The crew took their time and made sure everything was done right.  It looks excellent and meets the flooring int he adjoining rooms perfectly.  The price was very good.
The initial communication was a little unusual.  We communicated solely through Angie's List email even though I provided my personal phone number and email.  It was just new for me to communicate that way.  It worked out fine and everything was done to our satisfaction.

"What I like the very most about this company is their price transparency. Everything is itemized out to the smallest detail making their quotes very easy to understand. Perhaps rivaling this, is their responsiveness to phone calls or texting. I can always get a hold of someone or get called back right away. Everyone in this company is super, super, SUPER polite and when any issues arise they are quick to offer great solutions to keep your projects on schedule. I am very happy with the quality of the vinyl flooring install and the hardwood floor refinishing that was done. I am particularly impressed with the floor lacquer that was recommended for the hardwood flooring. I have already had an estimate for my next job with them."

"

The work was done quickly and we were treated professionally. The provider seems to have a very deep breadth of knowledge about this work and educated us along the way. We were ecstatic about the relationship and his can-do attitude (finding the same size wood/type was a chore).

The initial work looked spectacular -- dare I say perfect? And had I given this review immediately afterward, would have rated it as high as possible. However, spaces began to appear between the slats of the wood. This is most likely due to the wood not being fully dry before installation and it shrinking a bit -- something he specifically called out as a precaution he takes.

At the end of the day the floor does not look very good because of the little gaps here and there, even to a casual observer.

We had another company replace some wood in our downstairs as part of an insurance claim (flooding), which required new wood and refinishing the entire floor. After 3 years there is not the slightest hint of a gap between those boards. So in comparison, the work done via this Angie's List deal was pretty sub-par.

Why do I grade this Fair/3 stars? Because of everything else that went into getting the work done. I have a feeling this was a fluke -- that the wood was more moist than is normal -- and that even waiting the extra time we did for it to dry wasn't enough.

In fact, I called him back to do more work but found he had moved south so wasn't available...
