"I was really impressed on a number of levels. These guys are speccialists. They know their stuff and do great work. I instantly wished I had hired them to do my project in the first place rather than using a general landscaping company that does lighting as an add-on. (I knew so little about outdoor lighting that I didn't realize there were specialized companies.) Given that I had already pretty much spent my budget, what really impressed me is NW Outdoor Lighting was willing to work with my situation. Mary understood I needed to "make do" with what I already bought rather than pushing me to replace with stuff I can't afford at the moment. She redesigned with it, giving thought to getting the greatest value from it. When I can afford to upgrade and add to my outdoor lighting, I will definitely be calling Mary. I was also impressed and pleased with Craig's resourcefulness in getting my wires inside my brick columns. I turned out to be pretty tricky and many would have given up and said, "Sorry, lady." With some serious determination, Craig made it happen. Yay! Really made my day."

"Paul was fantastic to work with. We bought a 1970’s home that had been fully remodeled in 2010 and unfortunately the HVAC went out 8 months later. After we had our HVAC replaced, the heated floors stopped working. The HVAC electrician came back out to see if they’d done something to indirectly cause this issue, and after pulling the heated floor relay off the wall, discovered the wiring wasn’t up to code (and could have started a fire at any time since it’s installation 7 years ago.) I contacted Paul from Dependable Electric via email with a description of our problem, some photos, and information on the make/model of our two heated floor thermostats and relay. He researched the equipment and consulted with me over the phone. He suggested replacing the hardware, but was up front that he wouldn’t know if that was the issue, or the full scope of the issue, until he saw it in person for himself. An in-person consultation cost money, so I chose to schedule him to come out for a repair and purchased the $350 replacement thermostats/relay myself (they were returnable), and had them on hand when Paul came in mid Dec. 2017. It turned out the hardware did need replacing (the old ones had lasted much longer than typical). Paul called the thermostat/relay manufacturer several times to ask clarifying questions about the product to make sure he did everything correctly. Unexpected issues arose as well once he had a look behind the scenes, so to speak, included fixing the wiring (had to cut open a small bit of drywall to get to it) and electrical panel circuit work due to it not being completed to manufacturer specs for the amount of heated floor we have when originally installed. He was straightforward about the issues, the costs, came prepared, and was very efficient. Paul was able to finish everything in one day even though the job doubled in scope once we discovered the less obvious issues. He explained all possible options, outcomes, and cost impacts as we went along, and arranged to have the inspector come out within the next 1-2 weeks. No issues were identified by the inspector, the permit was issued, and no further repairs have been required. I was home all day during the repair and my husband met Paul as he was wrapping things up at the end of the day. My husband works in commercial construction (estimator), and was very satisfied with Paul’s knowledge, thoroughness, and straightforwardness when Paul brought him up to speed on everything that had been done. I would definitely call Paul again, or refer to him to a friend. More telling, is that my hard-to-impress husband would also call Paul up again if/when we need an electrician in the future."

"Igor arrived on time, assessed lighting needs, went to purchase lights, and returned directly to install.  The installation is great and we like the new lights.  The only comment I have would be that I would have liked the option to go purchase the lights myself, rather than paying electrician rates for the time it took him to go buy them. <br />"

Here's why: You know how there are always things that go wrong on a job? I've hired companies that don't take responsibility for anything once they are "done" with a given job. But Cascadia Outdoor Living Spaces stands behind their work with an honorable commitment to customer satisfaction and quality. They came back a couple of times after the job end date to fix up parts of the fences that weren't quite up to my pretty high standards - with no complaints and a great attitude. If anything goes wrong in the future, either with my patio or my fence, I have no doubt that they would come back to make it right. I should also note that Steve Higa proactively beat out another estimate I had gotten for the new fence, so I had to admire that initiative and drive to get this particular contract! So I would say: Definitely get other bids for comparison, and ask Steve to see if he can do the work for the price you want to pay."

We were pleased at how his crew went above and beyond the requirements to make sure I was happy with how everything looked and worked. They installed and replaced many light fixtures for us and were such pleasant and communicative people that it was like having friends do the work."

"as I said above, these guys were great, the plumber was quick and got the job done, even cleaned up the tub after. The lights were all installed, mud to clean up, texture, now I just have to touch up paint(my choice). The fence post was replaced, boards back up and yard secure, and the area was cleaned up, all the old junk gone. I have more work to be done and will use Nick again. the price was very good, the work done to my satisfaction, and he was really nice. Nick made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process."
