"Josh Q Jason S and Darian W removed my steel bathtub and installed a new bathtub on my second floor. Additionally Josh replaced the drain and that was difficult as there were light fixtures for my kitchen located very close to the drain. Also they had to remove a bulkhead and cut the ceramic tile on the walls and ensure that the tub surround met the ceramic tile. They did an outstanding job!!! They completed this during a snow storm that lasted all day and they cleaned up and when they left, my place was spotless. I highly recommend West Shore and want to thank Josh, Jason and Darian for their professionalism and the exceptional job installing the bathtub and plumbing!!!"

"Work was great. Just bought a 1972 townhouse that needs some serious updating. Michael installed a ceiling fan and light in rooms with no prior wiring, switched a light out with a new fan, replaced a hall light and added electrical outlets to bathrooms that had no outlets, fixed a minor issue with the garbage disposal, installed 2 new smoke detectors and replaced a couple of outlets. Everything is completed on time and will be hiring again as I have a lot more outlets to replace."

"It went very well.  Despite the fact that I live in Tennessee and this company is in Boston, they helped me a great deal.  I can't remember what I actually paid them, but it seemed reasonable for what I got:  unlimited access to the decorator's assistance.   I had already chosen some of the elements needed for my bathroom remodel, but got bogged down over colors/curtains/light fixtures at the end.  I just needed some help in tying everything together.
Their decorator (Amanda Zettel) and I worked mainly through Pinterest;  I made a board of my bathroom, using pictures of what I'd chosen already, and she sent me links to items that she thought I would like in categories that I needed.  We also talked over the phone several times, and emailed, too.  I believe Homemade Design will also help you with vendors and purchasing, though I didn't use that service.  Amanda did send me to some new websites, and I chose my bathroom lights from one of them.  Amanda helped me choose the finish, the shades, and the placement of the fixtures, which I love.  They are unique and charming - thanks, Amanda!
She also sent me several names of paint colors to chose from for the bath.  Because of the variations in computer screen colors, some people might not be comfortable with this, but I wanted to be the one who actually picked the color.  I just felt a little overwhelmed at the huge selection, so Amanda was able to narrow my choices to a range that I could live with.  The color has been up on my wall for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it.
All in all, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely use Jeff and Amanda's help again!"
