The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable in talking about the NEC (code) and provided excellent equipment recommendations that I ultimately had them install in preparation for all of my eventual electrical desires (House remodel, future EV charging, solar, greenhouse, sauna, external buildings, etc). They effortlessly handled the city permitting too. The city inspector freely remarked that University Electric always does good quality work and they never have return calls for resolving any workmanship issues. During the initial visit, Mike gave me a thorough, complete, and prompt estimate educating me on my current electrical system and the work to be done. Joe and Brian were friendly and professional explaining the work and answering all my questions. They communicated clearly through the whole process. Joe and Brian worked so hard to upgrade our electrical panel from fuses to breakers. They also installed an outdoor meter on the side of our house. For the panel there was a follow-up need Jason, the owner, came back out to our home at 10PM. And for the light fixtures Parker noticed we had a dimmer on a switch that wasn't connected to a dimmable light, a fire hazard, so he put a new switch in for us, something that wasn't on our radar.
