"We used Northland Coating this year to seal coat our basement floor. It will last for decades. It all started when we had some basement flooding and then decided to use Luxury Vinyl Plank on our basement floor. We purchased the flooring (special order so it couldn't be returned) and then started tearing up carpeting and pad. What a disaster. Whoever glued the pad down must have danced across the floor with glue. Circular patterns, waves and open areas - no logic. The pad was a nightmare to get up, especially where they just seemed to pool the glue. But that wasn't the worst part. The floor was so uneven with lots of valleys and a really high spot in the middle. We couldn't lay the flooring on that. So we rented a grinder and tried to even out a lot of it. It was too much variance. I started calling places to level the floor with fill. Either they were booked out for 6-8 weeks or one company wanted $6000. Everyone else was $2400 - $3000. Then I obtained two quotes for sealing the floor instead. One of the companies we previously had done business with came in at almost double the price of Northland. Plus they wanted to speak to my husband too. Seriously, if I am paying why should you need to speak to anyone else? Northland was great. Justin came out and quoted our project. We were originally going to have most of the basement coated in 2 phases since we had very large items that couldn't be moved out (a piano was one of them). There was one area we were going to leave carpeted but ultimately we had the basement done in 3 phases. Scheduling was easy. It is a messy project as they do some additional grinding. They try to keep the dust to a minimum but it is dust and gets around. Justin gave me a link to the supply company and I was able to pick a custom mixed color for our floor. You can choose from many colors or design your own. You can also choose the flake size. The supply company also had a tool where you could upload your photo and show the floor color in that space. It was easy. Choose some texture in the floor or it will be slippery. The floor looks great. I even have the piano metal wheels just sitting on the floor and they are fine. We scratched the floor slightly moving a heavy object but it is hard to see unless the light hits it just right. This is a solid floor. It has been months now and it is holding up just fine. Plus it is waterproof. Jake and his team did a fine job. They completed all 3 phases and cleaned up nicely. We do have seams at the phase transitions but you won't have them if you complete the work in one phase. There was some chipping at the tile transition to the bathroom but Justin offered to pay to fix it. We just negotiated the price down for phase three. I was able to fix it myself using some supplies from Ace Hardware and a YouTube video."

"Joe did a great job helping us schedule quickly. He was very responsive and provided a great understanding and overview of the process. Cicil and Arturo were hard workers! Arrived on time both days, and were very professional and tidy. I love the floor, many compliments and great feedback from everyone who has seen it (before and after pictures attached) Nice work all and Thank You!"

"Awesome. The sales guy had big samples to choose from, the scheduling went well. The only slight hitch was in finding a finish carpenter to add stem walls (baseboards) before the coating went on. But, it all got finished, the communication was great and the floor looks amazing. Spendy but Worth it!"

"My wife and I are extremely pleased with the end result of this project. It looks so good. The epoxy coating on the parameter foundation blocks and the concrete step to the house ads a perfect touch to the new clean look. I can now sweep the floor without dealing with concrete chips, dust, rough surface and cracks. We are also extremely pleased with the entire process of the project, including inspection and estimate, work scheduling, work completion and final inspection and satisfaction follow up. Terry, Ron, the lead workman and partner were all great to work with. I told the workmen the reason I chose Great Garage Floors was that they had done a neighbors garage floor 5 years ago and I really liked the job that was done and how well it was holding up. The lead workman told me he had done that job too. I could sense his pride that he takes in doing excellent work. The cost was competitive and obviously much less than doing a full concrete floor replacement."

"I had contacted Mike about a month before our move about coating the floor right after we moved into our new house. He explained the process and what to expect. I contacted him again when it seemed like everything was on schedule for our closing and move. Unfortunately, the weather and his schedule did not permit him to coat the floor in the few days we had before everything was moved into the garage. However, his crew moved everything out of the garage, coated the floor and replaced everything. The crew was kind and hard-working, and the garage looks great! <br />"

"We're very happy with our newly coated garage floor. It looks fabulous! The whole process from quote to follow-up questions, to installation was smooth. All interactions with Abe and crew were professional, courteous, and friendly. The quote was reasonable and the outcome amazing. Highly recommend Alamtal Flooring."
