"Ted informed me of the cost to replace my garage door springs. We set up a time that worked for both of us. Ted was on time and wearing a face mask, which I appreciated. He explained what was to be done and that it should take about an hour. Ted replaced my springs, balanced the door, and then said he would like to tune up the rollers and hinges- which is exactly what my old noisy garage door needed. I had my 4 1/2 year old and 2 1/2 year old with me and Ted was great with the both of them- also explaining to them what he was doing. The boys really enjoyed watching and asking Ted questions! Tal, the garage door tech, gave me a very reasonable estimate of just under $300 to replace the damage door rail and all 10 rollers. He as able to complete the whole repair in about one hour and the door functions smoothly and quietly, which had been a problem!"

"Good service, but VERY EXPENSIVE! I scheduled the service online to replace a broken spring on my 8yo dual garage door. Got an appointment right away for Mon (8a-10a). They confirmed the appointment via txt msg. On the day of the arrival, they sent a name & photo of the tech that was on his way to fix the garage door. Really nice and professional guy, Alex. He inspected the garage door, and gave me an estimate of $1245 to basically replace all removable parts (bearings, cables, springs, etc.) I decided not to move forward with it, and I was ready to pay mandatory $85 for his visit, but he revised the estimate to just replace the two springs along with center and end bearings for $869, which I thought was still high based on market research. I needed to get the door fixed due to upcoming travel, so I agreed to it. It took Alex 30 mins to complete the work. They accept checks and credit cards, but there is an additional 3% charge for credit cards! To give you an idea of total costs: I paid 2 x $345 for two springs: PDS 250x39 - 1-3/4" ID LHW SP Green Powder Coated High Cycle Torsion Spring; $37 for Center Bearing; and 2 x $71 for two End Bearing Plate 12 ga. Also, to replace 12 roller wheels on my single garage door (to reduce noise) the estimate was $245, but I didn't go for it. I would highly recommend getting a couple of quotes over the phone before having them come over, so you are not on the hook for $85 mandatory charge."

"Our garage door opener was very loud and is located directly beneath our kids' bedrooms. It would wake them up whenever it was activated. I wanted to install a quiet opener, and didn't want to do it myself. Many neighbors recommended Wade, and they were absolutely on target. I called Wade and he recommended a specific model to buy, and said he could install it within a couple days. I asked if he could also replace the weather stripping that was cracking around our door. He said he could for a small charge. He showed up at the exact time he said he would. I greeted him at the door, opened the garage for him, showed him where the new unit was, and left him alone to do his work. Turns out our old opener was installed with insufficient anchoring and was off-centered. He secured the unit and better aligned the track. He also did a great job installing quality weather stripping. The new opener is very quiet and everything works great. He was very friendly and knew his stuff. I do not hesitate recommending Wade for any garage door work you may need. I won't consider hiring anyone else for future work."
