"Gil did an amazing job of figuring out exactly what I needed, and he hired an amazing crew to get it done. This is by far the best home renovation experience I've ever had. Gil and Oliver both were very thorough in figuring out what needed to be done, and every step of the way if there was ever any ambiguity, they asked questions and came up with great solutions for everything that came up. I have never before had such a good experience with a home renovation, and I wish all contractors were as good as them. My project was fairly involved, with a complete renovation of my kitchen, dining room, and laundry room, and yet the whole process took under a month to get done, and it was done right the first time. I wholeheartedly recommend Your Home Builders. No complaints at all."

"Anyvision and Chase were excellent! Their bid was competitive, and their contract was clear and straightforward. What began as a simple shower pan repair turned into a full master bath remodel and a new roof due to water damage. Having dealt with poor contractors for 45 years, we feared the worst, but Chase handled everything seamlessly. He assessed the damage, adjusted the plan, and had the skilled crew to execute both repairs and high-quality finishes. The team was punctual, professional, and kept our home clean. Chase’s tile specialists did exceptional work—no metal edges, just beautifully mitered finishes. With the remodel being unexpected, we had to make quick decisions, but Anyvision’s designer and CAD renderings helped us visualize everything. Chase was onsite daily, keeping us informed with updates, photos, and videos. Challenges arose, but Chase managed them like a pro—offering smart design input, controlling costs, and maintaining quality. This was the best contractor experience we’ve had in the PNW. Anyvision is the real deal, and we’d hire them again in a heartbeat. Their communication, expertise, and customer-first approach set them apart"

"Jared and his team, Allen and Brandon, were stellar. We had them update our half bathroom and entry way tiles. They also updated our laundry room tiles and the hearth over our fireplace. They did a first rate job. We actually added on a couple of projects when they were here and they did them without question and were very fair with the add ons. Overall, they were very fair with pricing . One important note...Jared was excellent about responding to texts and emails regarding questions about the project. He is probably one of the best contractors we have worked with. If or more likely, when, I need a contractor, we will use North Star Remodel without question."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Edmonds, WA

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
