"I was very pleased with the exterior work that Home Worx completed on my 1980 home this fall. As a result, they will be the first ones I call for additional exterior work. Home Worx (1) replaced siding that was damaged by birds that had pecked through the material, (2) removed damaged siding and installed flashing over my garage, and (3) installed flashing along the entire length of my home between my deck and house. Home Worx was quick with an assessment and estimate, explained the work involved in the repairs, and always asked for approval before proceeding with unexpected expenses. Since my home is nearly 40 years old, Dave kept me informed about additional steps in the repair work that were needed to ensure that the area was up to current code (e.g., adding a vapor barrier, installing flashing, caulking seams -- all to keep moisture out). Dave and Tim were always pleasant to speak with and were quick to respond to texts/emails. Because they perform exterior repair work, you have to be patient because some of their work depends on the weather. Similarly, you need to be patient because as a small company, Home Worx may be tending to one or two other jobs simultaneously. While I was away as they worked on my property, my stay-at-home neighbor made a point to tell me that they worked hard while here and frequently didn't leave until it became dark. They also kept the work area tidy to minimize the mess which I, and my neighbor, appreciated."

Cons: took a few days longer than necessary/than originally projected/proposed due to interspersed 4-day vacations (one or two days either side of a weekend - punctuality concern); lack of diligence keeping worksite cleaned of old/used caulk, nails, and wood chips from old trim (required a little bit of cleanup from customer)"

The gentleman who reviewed my home and the work that needed to be done used no pushy sales tactics, came up with quotes for several different options and price tiers, and was actually informed and experienced regarding the work to be done. This standard held for every person I met from their staff, from the office to the on-site contractors. Everyone was responsive, friendly and very helpful. My house was completely sided in Hardie Plank, fully up to Hardie's specifications, replacing some aging LP recalled planking and T1-11, along with correcting several emerging structural issues, including a completely rotten corner. The planks are straight, the seams perfect. The paint crew was incredibly fast and had the whole house done in a day, even coating all around, and only a few touchups found in the final walk-through. The only issue that arose with the project was due to a miscommunication between two crews trading off the siding project, which Duane immediately set about correcting without my even having to ask, let alone having to argue with them.
