"Our walk in shower has tile on one wall that is way out of plumb and there is a large gap in the tile in one corner over half the height of the shower. Our bathroom floor gets wet after every shower because they did not slope the threshold inwards - it is actually sloping outwards. I received a $500 credit for the poor workmanship, but I should have asked for more so it would have been reworked.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We had to have a new stainless kitchen sink replaced because one of the tile guys scratched it up cleaning his tools in it. Jay paid for that, but one would think an experienced professional would know better, especially when we told them there was a utility sink in our basement they could use. We were really sold by Jay on the fact that he has very experienced, long term employees, but I do not now believe that is the case.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Both ceilings in the bathrooms had drywall repair that was needed and even after complaining more than once of the repair quality, there are still very visible issues on both ceilings. I had to argue with them about several things throughout the project to get what we wanted and we still were not satisfied overall. We paid top price and expected top quality. We received average quality overall due to poor workmanship on the walk in shower and poor drywall repair on both ceilings. Get everything in writing if you go with this company."

"If you're looking for a contractor that stands behind the quality of their work you might want to rethink hiring Dreamscapes Home Improvements. Dreamscapes charged me $800 for a new chimney flashing when they installed my new roof in August of 2015. In October of 2018, the first time I had been in my attic since the installation of my new roof, I noticed that the roof had been leaking for some time on the north side of my chimney as the plywood was heavily stained in the area of the leak. I believe a new roof should remain leak free for longer than 3 years so I called Joel at Dreamscapes. He came out and made a cursory inspection of the chimney, but didn't find an obvious cause of leak. He said he would come back the following Friday with his son to do a more extensive search for the cause of the leak and make a correction to a section of the flashing was that was sagging in the center. Like I said that was in October of 2018, this is August of 2019. I haven't heard from anyone at Dreamscapes since that day and they haven't responded to any of my communications. I believe that I have since found the cause of the leak myself. Things seem to be staying dry at least for now. The problem I found I was where the mason that had previously rebuilt my chimney left a dime sized void that should have been filled with mortar allowing rain to get behind the bricks. I would have been willing to pay Dreamscapes for finding and making that repair since it had nothing to do with the work they had done, but they completely blew me off. The point I'm trying to make is; if you're looking for a contractor who will stand behind his work and make a warrantee repair for you when things go wrong, this isn't the guy you want."
