Marc also suggested refinishing my faux brick kitchen backsplash with another color that complemented the countertops I was having refinished. The cost of the work was very reasonable. Marc's team performed their work while I was on vacation in Florida. When I arrived home, I was amazed at how great the kitchen looked. "I am very, very happy with the beautiful job that Signature KB did in remodeling my kitchen and two bathrooms. Linda did a superb job at helping me design and visualize my project, sending me to great places, coming up with suggestion after suggestion when I was unsure of my options. Their choices for cabinets, hardware, faucets, countertop materials and the like were endless and I was very happy with where Linda sent me to pick out my appliances and granite. The contractor with which Linda worked, Thacker Construction, was very good, and very timely once the counter tops were ready to be installed. The reason for 4 stars as opposed to all 5 is that I had no idea that touch-up painting was not included. There were a lot of places where the wall that was newly exposed or created was either bare or had previous wall color/coverings, and I did not realize that the job was considered "completed" without the considerable amount of painting that needed to be done. I did suggest to Linda that that fact be shared with the client early on, so that no one is taken by surprise and left to their own devises! Other than that, I am entirely pleased and love living in and showing off my newly remodeled rooms!"

"Had an extremely positive experience with KD Kitchens. In addition to refacing our kitchen cabinets, they had a new granite countertop installed for us, new backsplash installed, new can lights above the countertop, and a new laminate floor installed. Their installers stayed until the job was done. In the case of the refacing installer, he stayed in a local motel for 8 days straight to get the job done. The countertop installer stayed till 10:00 at night to finish the job. Always cleaned up after working each day. Only complaint was the brake fluid they left up and down my freshly sealed driveway. Would definitely recommend them."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible.
