First when I had Bill come to my house for an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and I could tell that he had lots of experience. His father, also named Bill works with him and the both of them have an insane amount of experience. Bill senior even used to teach masonry so you know that theyâ re pros. Bill and his team were very patient with me as I altered the final plans multiple times. Their end goal was to just make me happy which they did. I now have a large patio with a custom bump out for a fire pit that I installed, along with a nice sawcut and stained border that gave my patio a great decorative touch. They were always on schedule, professional, and affordable!!"

"I m new to Home Advisor and have had excellent results! In the past I have reached out to contractors and have had spotty results. Often no return calls or over priced estimates. I Submitted a request on a Saturday morning around 6:00 and had a phone call from Pete May - the owner of Precision Decorative Concrete asking to come by that morning for an estimate! Pete showed up and was professional and and very detailed in his proposal. He said he would email me later in the day. Because I have had several other estimates I expected that Pete s estimate would be out of my price range. I was very happy that the estimate was well below others and provided more detail. ( this project has been on the back burner for 3 years !) I accepted his proposal and the job was complete within a week ! ( I didn t ask, but didn t expect them before 8:00 am!). I have never had a contractor show up early! They were here well before 8:00 am and did prep work as planned. The rest of the project went extremely well. "<p>I am writing this recommendation for Procrete and their owner Dave McBride. I decided to engage Dave and Procrete after searching for a hardscape / paver contractor local to my summer house in Margate. There are many contractors who will work at the shore, but my preference was to find a company based in the area vs. an hour away. </p> <p>Dave was very professional in his approach, and consultative. I shared with him what we were looking for, to completely rebuild our back yard, from 50 year old ugly cracked concrete and a chain link fence to a new vinyl fence and pavers.<br></p> <p>We shared our vision, and Dave’s firm provided a sketch of what the back yard could look like with a specific paver design, which we ended up going with – while making a few changes along the way.<br></p> <p>We also had Dave install a built-in gas firepit that has exceeded our expectations. It is now the central point of our new back yard.<br></p> <p>While at it, I also had Dave replace my old cracked driveway with new concrete and pavers for my front walkway. AS his team was already at my house doing a job, the extra cost was not prohibitive.<br></p> <p>My biggest concern going in was using a contractor that I did not have a previous referral for. Dave provided referrals plus a list of properties in the local area that he did work on.<br></p> <p>I must say, the work was top notch and we are thrilled with how our back yard came out. I had no less than 4 neighbors comment on the work they were doing and their commitment to doing a good job vs. a fast job.<br></p> <p>I have been screwed before by contractors that finish the job 80-90% and then never come back to truly complete the job. Dave even came back to finish all of my items on a punch list after the job was done.<br></p> <p>I 100% recommend Dave and Procrete for hardscaping, paver and concrete work.<br></p>"

"This was my second time using A-List Concrete. The outstanding work they accomplished replacing damaged sidewalk sections at my old home made this a no-brainer decision. Ron and his Team did another AMAZING job replacing the damaged concrete walkway at my new home. The workmanship is top-notch and the price was very reasonable. "The Powerwashing Guys crew did an absolutely amazingly great job!!! I have now found my go-to company for keeping my house in beautiful condition. The two power washing men showed initiative and attention to every detail, and it was a big job. The house has never looked better, and I now know what the BEST POWER WASHING JOB LOOKS LIKE, so it will not be easy to settle for anything less than these guys did today. Hard to describe perfection, but they hit it today. The window washing crew also did a great job. They were organized and efficient, and I was super pleased with the results. This is a big house to get ready for the summer rental season, and I now have the company to help me do it."

"Owner came out on a Saturday and did an estimate, up front (without be asked for) provide a list of question to ask (in case you didn't know/unsure), references for the local area going back 5 years, and afterwards a throughly written estimate.  Professional and personal was the first impression...you cannot under estimate the first impression.  After we set the date, there were multiple rain delays (my wife and I understand paving in pouring rain is not good, for anyone).  The office of Penn Jersey provided constant updates to our changing scheduled, I never had to guess what was happening.  (my side bar, outside work is largely based on weather, so understand if your work is delayed due to weather, its not bad service)  Day of the work, the entire crew came together, prepared, all dressed alike in company clothing.  Total professional operation.  The owner lead the day and as I learned, the crew consisted of sons, newphews, even the office is run by family.  Happy group of folks doing a wonderfully professional job and the driveway looks incredible.  We are extremely happy. <br />"

"Overall, service was good. We needed gutter cleaning on our 2 story, 2500 sq ft home. A friend currently uses Atlanta's Best and recommended them to us. I got a quote online for $125, less a $20 discount for new customers. The crew had to reschedule our first appointment the day of due to getting delayed on a previous job, but their communication was good and kept us in the loop the whole time. The office rescheduled us and got a crew out within a week of the initial appointment. I wasn't home when the guys arrived, but I came home to not only clean gutters but a clean driveway, walkway, porch, etc.. They didn't just pull the crap out of the gutter and throw it all over the place which was nice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking."

"Pete came out and talked to me, then even let my wife and I come to his house one evening to see some sample concrete work. For the job, he and his guys showed up on time, were friendly and courteous, and I can't tell you how many times he brought me out, discussed options (like colors etc) and even created a small sample "work pad" where he could play with some color so i could see it before we decided. He was truly patient and careful. Of course, the real issue is - how did the job turn out? Frankly, it's beautiful. Really, there's definitely some artist in this guy because it's just eye-catching. Everyone comments on it. He also does all the little extras, like keeping the site clean between days, and leveling the ground so it all looked nice when done. (And throwing down some grass seed on new soil - which we didnt even discuss in advance.) I think he's just a nice guy trying to make a living doing something he enjoys. If stamped concrete is what you want, you can't go wrong here. Now i will add, i tried calling him to get a quote 2 months prior, and never got a call back. I then made arrangements with another contractor, and right at the end, things fell thru. So i had to wait a bit and then thought i'd try Precision again.. This time he called back. I didn't bring it up but he did mention at some point "I was so busy this summer, i had to stop returning calls." I guess that's a good thing - you know he's well liked. But just a warning, you might need to pick your time of year carefully, if you want to get thru. I do wish he would have someone call back and say "hey, can it wait a month?" I would have felt better about that. But still, he was worth the wait."
