"The crew of 2 arrived within a half hour of the estimated time quoted. I was surprised there wasn't a larger crew but I've had these same two men (Steve Carlin Jr. and Wes) clean my gutters about 10 years ago so I knew they were reliable and hard workers. My house is 2 and a half stories so it required a lot of ladder climbing and moving to get the job done. When it became apparent they might not be able to finish in one day they said they'd be back the next day if required. But they actually worked into the night since I had enough light and a lantern for them to finish. They were responsive to questions and suggestions and even came back the next day to inspect their work to make sure working in the night hadn't caused any problems. It was expensive but they actually quoted the best materials available which I verified prior to giving them the job. The gutter covers they use are black on black Diamond Back covers consisting of an aluminum screen covering a powder coated steel framework. I will gladly use C&C again in the future should there be storm damage or any other problem arise. I did wait to review this until I could see the gutters work during a rain event and they worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this company."

"<p>First of all, Arlen returned our call promptly and that's always appreciated! She and her crew (2 gentlemen) came early and called before arriving.  We not only got the flue cleaned, they cleaned our fireplace right down to and including the glass doors!  Our faulty damper was also repaired. The gentlemen actually had the forethought and time to ask me to open and close the damper after the repair to make sure I could do it myself and understood the mechanism. </p> <p>Their equipment was cleaner than my own vacuum. Our carpet is off white so I was a bit concerned before they arrived. Our floor was first covered with a runner from the front door to the fireplace, and  NO shoot or dirt was left behind  on anything. Now this fireplace flue had not been cleaned in many years and a good amount of time was spent cleaning the hardened  soot that built up. I was given great dips on fireplace safety with a genuine concern for making mine a safe home. All of them were enthusiastic, friendly and happy to be of service. Its hard to believe this kind of service still exists these days..........but it really does!  I was told once that if a review sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't. Not in this case, I strongly recommend the Cheerful Chimney sweep and will look forward to seeing them in the future. <strong>They are the icon of people who enjoy what they do and take pride in their work.
