"Ranch Concrete did a wonderful job. We wanted to keep the sod that was placed where the extended driveway would go. Jose and his men did preserve the sod perfectly. They did a excellent job on the driveway and would definitely call them for our next project."

"We couldn't be happier with the results and with the service we received. The crew was friendly and professional and got the work done very quickly. I had been dreading having the driveway done as I thought it would be very disruptive and messy. Mr. Storey's crew hauled off all the debris and left the place looking perfect. They went above and beyond when they fixed our sidewalk as well."

"Mr. Wigginton is the best. On time, finished a day early, clean job site, professional crew and a very competitive price among the 4 bids I received. Furnished a written estimate via email, brought a contract to the first day of work explaining the process and when payment was expected... Driveway looks great."

"Hired for my daughter's project. This is both of our account of the job preformed. The concrete looks good but customer service and satisfaction is not a concern with this company. The owner (Jared) steered away from his proposed method of performing the work, Jared was absent from the job and his crew damaged a fence and some landscape, the crew was openly drinking beer and one of them relived himself facing a window. Jared basically refused to meet face to face and look at the issues! Ultimately the land scape issue was passed over. Two fence guys did come by, but didn't take the time to properly fix the issues. When all was said and done Jared settled for $200 less than he asked for and my daughter is looking for someone to properly fix her fence and landscape. After all this I had still planned to hire Jared for my driveway extension but due to a lack of communication about scheduling, a change of the scope of work, and quoted price I decided not to!"

".Dylan and his crew did a fine job, finished most of job in one day, then were hampered by weather, came back in a couple of days to fully finish cleanup. Also cut down large bushes and small trees for a great price. Cleanup was thorough. <br /> Dylan Martin no longer works for Republic, he's started his own company, Martin Restoration LLC  ( 901-581-6199), has kept the crew who did my roof. I plan to use them for some other repairs and I've already recommended his company to a friend of mine. <br />"

"The Baltz company had previously done an excellent job replacing my veranda's concrete floor, so when it was time to modernize my old broken driveway I called them in again. Mr Kevin Baltz and I agreed on the work and the price on 4 April, scheduled for execution in early May. On 21 May, after leaving a couple of v-mails I heard back from Mr Baltz, saying he hoped to start the following week weather permitting. In fairness, we've had a wet Spring so I can understand a certain amount of schedule slippage. <br /> Two weeks later, I was leaving for a 9:30 appointment to find the demolition crew assessing my driveway. There had been no prior <br /> notification, by email or voice message. After a necessarily brief discussion of what I wanted done (they weren't completely sure) I had to leave. When I returned several hours later the crew had already left. They took the concrete rubble, which was good, but left enough roots and broken-up wood to half-fill my garbage can. I called the Baltz number and left a message asking for confirmation of when the rest of the work will be done. No response. <br /> The pour crew arrived, without notice, about noon three days later. The concrete was poured and got post-pour treatment, looks very good (1st photo), but the aluminum trim on either side of the door was crumpled (second photo), I suspect during the demolition phase. I pointed out the problem when the crew arrived the next day to remove the concrete forms. The crew boss said he'd notify Mr Baltz, and also mentioned that they'd use and quot;red sandand quot; to fill in the trench where the forms had been on either side of the new driveway. <br /> A week later I called Mr Baltz to find out where things were. He'd been told of the crumpled trim, expects to make it right. <br /> Yet a week later (we're up to 20 June by now) I called again. Mr Baltz said he had the demo team look at the damage yesterday, evaluating the possibility of just straightening the trim or replacing it.. I told him I'd be leaving town 5 days later. He said whatever they need to do they could take care of without opening the garage door. He expected to get back to me before I leave town. <br /> On 9 July I left yet another v-mail. On 15 July Mr Baltz returned my call. He told me he'd talked with his demo crew, they're getting someone lined up to take care of it. He'll call back as soon as he gets a schedule from them. <br /> As I write this it's 29 July, 7 weeks plus after the crew boss noted the damage, and I've heard nothing back despite more phone calls. <br /> I like the concrete work, but the demo work and most especially the follow-up depart greatly from what I'd expected from this firm. <br /> <br /> Update: On Friday 9 Aug, a siding contractor engaged and paid by Baltz (separate review) replaced the damaged material. It looks so much better now I'm going to have to get up on a ladder to clean up the garage's vinyl siding to match the elegant concrete and refreshed frame around the door."

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Ellendale, TN

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
