"This is an excellent company. I manage a few apartment complexes and they did such an excellent job that i didn't need to replace the carpet. We have used them a couple of times and both times I was more than pleased with the job that they did. I also had them come clean the carpets at my house. "Forgot about my reservation, rescheduled, showed up 4 hrs late.  Did not want to come because they were overbooked but did when I insisted saying that it would be weeks before I could schedule the work to be done again.  Left my tile and hardwoods floors filthy.  The grout was clean but there was dirty water all over the place.  I mopped my floors but found that the chemicals or something in the water was hard to get up.  Ended up mopping several times before the film came off.  Felt a residue left in the carpet as well.  Yuck."

Mr Newsome entered into a gentlemanâ s agreement to purchase a tractor, trailer and implements I had for his business. Mr Newsome agreed to make installment payments almost a year has passed and he has not fulfilled his part and makes no attempt to pay or work off his part. He has left me no choice but small claims court."

"This was our second project built by Backyard Construction. We had been so pleased with a 10x12' garden shed they built for us in 2012 that we had them build our art studio as well.  Once again, they did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with both buildings. Their part of the studio project involved constructing the shell of the structure; my husband and I, our electrician and our painter then finished the interior
We've used Backyard Construction because the quality of their buildings is excellent. After looking at dozens of other companies' offerings it was easy to see that Backyard used better materials and offered a higher level of workmanship yet was still very competitive pricewise. The studio is now one year old and the garden shed is two years old, and neither building has presented any problems whatsoever.
Construction began on time and was completed right on schedule. Their crew was courteous and extremely efficient. Dustin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and did an excellent job following up to make sure we were happy with everything. Working with Backyard Construction was a very positive experience for us each time, and we're more than happy to recommend them to others.

"Work for poison ivy was very punctual, and he met me on the weekend, since that is the only time I'm in the mountains. He was accommodating for my schedule, and the poison ivy was no longer a problem. It was getting on my dogs, and then onto me, so I knew the problem was solved when it stopped getting on me. There was a delay in getting the deck built just because he was backed up with work over the summer, but he told me that right up front. He then contacted me when he had time coming available, and the work was done exactly when he said it would be, and right on budget."

"The wrong shower tile was installed, the exhaust fan/light was not installed and not left at the job site, grab bar was not installed as requested, work site was left a mess. When concerns were voiced to the owner he stated "That's how we always do it" and that my disappointment was a list of "petty stuff". He advised that his customers were always satisfied and I had yelled and cursed at him which was not the way he does business. I may have yelled, but I was not a satisfied customer and wanted at least some sort of apology or indication that he had some responsibility in not doing the job as expected. That did not happen. Two and a half weeks later, I made a second call. He did offer to "fix" two of my issues (threshold not level with hall floor and install fan/light so that the light would work with the old fan - I had expected to have the new fan and light installed). I declined his offer as I have no faith that his fix will be any better than the work already done. I live out of state and would not be on site to see what was done. Additionally, there is no way for him to "fix" the wrong tile, the fan/light I provided and paid for is gone, as is the leftover paint that I paid for and I have already cleaned/scrubbed walls, floor, toilet, vanity, mirror and light fixture which all had grout or paint left on them.
