"I hired this company to repair a leak in our roof on our enclosed porch. They came out immediately and provided a fair estimate. During the course of the work, part of the roof collapsed and I could see the entire sky exposed. I was freaking out but they promptly repaired the roof and came back a day later to repair the ceiling and painted it as well as the walls that had water stains on them from the ceiling collapse at no extra charge. They did this repair on Christmas Eve, until it was all fixed and good as new. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer. We are pleased with their work and would hire them again in the future should the need arise."

The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. "Called because the box vents on the above the kitchen sun room (room off kitchen with a vaulted ceiling a separate roof) would leak when strong winds and rain occurred. I called to have them removed since they never served any purpose in venting that roof. They also inspected the rest of the roof and recommended that one vent pipes was in need of repair, and some of the ridge vents were starting to pull up (the nails were rusting). They suggested a better vent system using shingles covering the vent to protect it. Work done quickly and professionally. Shingles matched very well to existing ones. <br />"

"Disclosure: I had over 15 estimates. Dewalt&Son's was not the cheapest, they came in middle of the road. That is just fine. They provided a well written detailed estimate of what the estimated price included, and what extra "hidden costs" would be covered for that price. It stated in plain English how much time it would take when work started, and how long the estimate was good for. I was provided with a large packet of references. Once I decided to go with Dewalt&Son's they showed up when they promised, and completed the work early, and on budget even though it was the middle of the summer, and the heat was blistering. My home was left orderly, and there was no major damage to any of my property. So far it has been almost five months, and the roofing has survived a supercell thunderstorm, and our first winter freeze. Nothing unexpected has happened, and I am very satisfied with the job Dewalt&Son's did. I have recommended them to others personally. I waited to write this review so could observe the roofing job over the seasonal change after some weather. It held up great, and no doubt will continue to do so."
