They came out to my house and gave me an estimate and matched my grout color. Within a couple days they were backed out to repair my grout. "We couldn't be happier with the work that Shawn did for us. We initially had him replace our deck. Since we have an 18 month old, I asked him to add a gate at the steps leading to the yard. We can let our son play without worrying. The deck is right off the kitchen, so we open the sliding glass door close the screen. Now we can can cook or clean and let him play. The second job Shawn did was replace the original 100 year old windows ok n the main floor. Since the outside of the old windows had lead base paint, and most did operate correctly, we felt like we need to replace instead or restore. The work was excellent on both jobs. He was prompt, professional, patient, knowledgeable, and a problem solver. When it became apparent with our entry way replacement that we would be spending way more than we budgeted Ryan was able to present solutions to what we were wanting. "Jim was great to work with in setting up the initial project design. We came up with the great alternative to the layout of my 17 year old cedar deck. While replacing my deck using the composite materials was much more expensive, I'm very happy Jim presented the option. I would have been disappointed had I decided to go back to the traditional cedar option. <br> <br>The project commenced in mid-jury and took about 70 days. That may seem like a long time, however, this was a very big project (I have a 2-story walkout) and Jim wanted to b certain it got done correctly. Additionally, weather was a HUGE factor. We had a significant amount of rainfall last summer (for a change) and consequently that led to delays in the project. <br> <br>Of course the original deck was deteriorating and we discovered, upon demolition, that when the deck was originally built it was attached to my house incorrect (direct through the siding with no flashing). Consequently we discovered a large amount of rot in the plywood and framing under the siding. It was only a matter of time before it would have started showing through the actual siding. <br> <br>The project completed toward the end of September. The final project was WAY beyond my expectations.
