The work was fine. The technician very competent and concientious about keeping things clean. The only rub, they wanted $179 to put the toilet back in (way out of line). I think they could have told me. Nevertheless, I drove to home depot for a wax ring and had it done in 10 minutes. Overall, a 4 oout of 5. If they charged a more reasonable rate for reseating the toilet i would have had them do it, and would have rated a 5."

As requested he tried to snake the drain but couldn’t get the snake to advance. Got a smaller snake with the same issue. The snake came back with rust and sludge. Well kitchen sinks are rather important so i gave the OK to replace the stack. Note that I live in a century home with 100 yo cast iron stacks. I nearly fainted when he showed me how the rust and sludge had narrowed the stack’s diameter to the size of my pinky. Through all of this Ivan answered all of my questions, kept me informed and gave me time to think which I very much appreciated. Would I tell my friends and neighbors to use Mr. Rooter? I would enthusiastically! Am I thrilled with my new stack and quick draining sink? Oh yes I am 😄 "
