Work was completed quickly and our property was kept clean and safe during the week or so it took to complete the job. Our roof, although the house is not large, has many peaks and valleys including a large stone chimney, making the job a less than straight forward.Compared 3 other contractors before deciding on Layman. Later in the day he called to say his crew would replace the gutter the next day. They found a problem causing them to use straps that nailed into the roof to hold the gutter in place, and Ron did not charge anything extra for using them. The old gutter was removed and we were very happy with the new gutter. I would definitely hire JSR again and would recommend them to others."

He came out the same day I called him and had it repaired. No charge, of course. A year or two later another older house I own and rent developed a moisture problem. He came out on the same day I called him. He spent 1.5 hours on the job investigating the source of the leak and then repaired it. Didn't charge me anything because I was one of his "customers". Joel Ventura is the contractor I want. He is timely, not over priced and very professional. He stands behind his work and his reputation."
