"Jeff made everything super easy! He was very responsive, got us a quote quickly and was punctual. He patched 20 square feet of carpet and I can’t even tell that the difference between the existing carpet and the patched area. He was courteous and professional. Highly recommend!"

"I highly recommend this company. My foster dog dug up part of the carpet and messed up the padding underneath. The service was great at letting me know the approximate time to expect them and it was pretty accurate. The work done was outstanding. You could not tell that the padding was all messed up. And to cost was far lower than I expected. An outstanding company. I have already recommended to a friend and a co-worker."

"They were so responsive via email in calculating an estimate and a time to have the cleaning done. We never realize how much dust gets into our carpets here in Colorado. Edward was very thorough and we’re so happy with the results. Our carpet feels like the day we moved into our house for the first time!"

"I found Liberty on Angie's list two years ago. They have been here 3 times and I'm very satisfied each time. This time there was also a minor repair and this was conducted to my satisfaction. They get out water and food stains and wear and tear very well. I have no pet stains or odors so can't speak to that. Try them - they have treated my carpet expertly and they are congenial and polite, professional!"

"Michelle and Shelly, confusing, I know, and they even sound alike on the telephone, are both fantastic. Michelle came to the house, brought samples and we sorted out all the details right then and there. I had two other highly reviewed carpet installers from Angies list come out to bid as well. They were both very competent and professional but could not come close to the Carpet Connection price and convenience. Basically I got stellar service via an in-home process without driving across town and saved three hundred dollars off the nearest bidder. The installation crew showed up early and rang the bell exactly on time. They hauled carpet up and down a tight staircase and never scratched the walls. Very professional installers and it looks fantastic. Nice attention to all the corners up there which was not easy with the multiple levels of floor and step ups and step downs. Shelly called me the day after instillation to make sure we were happy. Who does that anymore? So nice to get the best service for the best product and at the best price. <br />"

"This is a good company with a long proven record in the Longmont area.  We are fairly new to this area and found them on Angie's List.  Among other things, we wanted to find a local company for this service. They were very helpful every step of the way, from shopping, selecting, to installation.  We were very pleased with the carpet and the careful installation that was completed. We are very pleased with the final product. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Erie, CO

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
