I called several companies and did not get a reply from 2. The third company, All Seasons Chimney, referred me to Bruce because they felt he was best suited for the particular work. Bruce answered when I called and set up to come look at the situation 2 days later. He and his son, Chad, come that day, assessed the situation and installed the 2 caps the same day. Bruce and Chad were very knowledgable and personable. I would use them again for sure! Actually I am awaiting an estimate for some additional work that I inquired about before they left."

"Before converting a wood-burning fireplace to a gas log, we called Vonderhaar to inspect and sweep the chimney. We wanted to ensure the chimney was clean and nothing was living in it before converting to gas log. I called Vonderhaar and scheduled an appointment the same week we called. We had called other companies and they were scheduling further out, at higher estimates. Chris was the employee who came for the job. He inspected the chimney (from the roof and looking up into it from the fireplace), found nothing living in it, and confirmed it was clean. He told us he could sweep the chimney though doing so was unnecessary since it was clean. He gave us some asked-for advice about the new gas log insert and the chimney cap. The cost was lower than the original estimate because our chimney didn't require cleaning."

"Went great!   We had used Ray St. Clair a few years ago to replace our gutters and they did a great job.  This time 20 year skylights were failing and causing some leaking in our sun room.    Ray St. Clair came out quickly after our call to give us an estimate.  They also suggested some minor repairs to the same roof, and showed us pictures to explain why they were suggesting the repairs.   We agreed to the work and understood when to expect completion of the work as the skylights had to be ordered.   The skylights arrived earlier than anticipated, and Ray St. Clair contacted us and even did the installation and roof repair on a Saturday, while we were out of town.   They even suggested we put down some drop cloths in the sunroom to catch any falling dirt, etc.   Everything went great with the installation.   All in all, a great experience again with Ray St. Clair Roofing and we will continue to use them in the future."
