He could have simply agreed with the other contractor and racked up more business for himself if he had wanted to do so; instead he didn’t charge me a cent for his time and effort although I would have been very happy to pay for the peace of mind he gave me. "Mike and his team did an AMAZING job replacing my roof with a cool roof, backed by the Golden Pledge Warranty. I wanted an energy efficient roof to not only cut my AC bills, but to also use YGRENE to fully cover the cost and not pay a dime out of my pocket for this job. I had 6 different companies come out and quote me on a cool roof, and Sequoia Roofing was the first bid and ultimately the one we chose. Mike, the owner, was very down to earth, incredibly knowledgeable, and is the only one to offer the Golden Pledge Warranty. This warranty covers not only the materials (like most warranties do), but also the labor. In other words, the labor is backed by GAF (shingle company)...if something happens to Mike's business, the labor is still covered! No other contractor could offer me this warranty, as there is just a few certified contractors around who can! Knowing the huge investment of replacing my roof, I wanted to ensure I will never have to do it again! The best part was that his price was the same or even lower than the other 5 companies I had quote me. "It was a nice experience from start to finish. To Leon there’s no such thing as a small job although later it became bigger because I had all the rotting facia whole or partial replaced . Add to that the relatively new patio roof that was done very poorly and badly by a previous company was also replaced. All these add ons were ok with Leon and the good news is the price was still reasonable and within my budget. I gave 4 stars only because the replacement shingle was a bit off ."

"I contacted Alvarez roofing to repair a leak coming from a ventilation pipe on my roof. They responded immediately to my request to evaluate the roof and repair the leak. I informed Francisco that it was urgent because my home was in escrow and I did not want to delay the sale and needed to insure the buyer that the roof was in excellent condition.
