It was one of my best contracting experiences as a home owner. The project involved a complete tear out of an old deck, framing and footers and install of new picture framed composite decking, framing, additional footers and aluminum railing. The onsite team were very professional and kept me informed every step of the way. This project was permitted and the inspection process was a breeze. They even repaired my damaged brick pavers and laid 5 cubic yards of stone under the deck and ground perimeter at no additional cost. Thank you Jeff, Mark, TJ and Buck!. You guys rock!"

"My first time using Angie's List proved to be well worth it! I saw a deal for replacement windows through American Jewel Window Systems for a pretty good price, 5 windows for $1499. I ordered them and met with Chuck who came to my home to take the initial measurements. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! He showed me the options and gave me the estimate. The deal did not include the screens, which cost at an additional $10 each. The following week, the installer came by to take more measurements. Two weeks later, the company called me for an install date. 
The two installers came and were absolutely perfect. They brought in all the supplies, removed the old windows, took caution and placed cloth tarp, installed the new windows, sealed them properly, and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at how fast and quietly they worked. What a difference in warmth replacing a few windows can do. The rooms where the windows were replaced were always very cold. Chuck had told me I would see a huge difference when getting rid of my old aluminum ones for brand new vinyl ones. We were so pleased with the initial 5 windows, that we contacted them again and replaced an additional 11 windows in our home. 
I am extremely happy and satisfied with this decision. My house is warmer and I felt that I received a really great deal!

"We were very pleased with both the service and quality of the product. They did a very nice job of installing and the product is great. The people were really nice and very cooperative. Actually they came back today to work on we actually had a door put in as well and it needed little bit of adjustment so they came back and adjusted it for us. "The price was fair for the job done which is important however the overall job was mediocre at best. My kitchen is challenging with an 18' cathedral ceiling. I anticipated the highest parts of where the wall meets the ceiling the paint lines might not be perfectly straight. Even managing my expectations... not a single paint line is straight, they are all wavy, at the baseboard, around the door, where the ceiling height is only 8' - not a straight paint line to be found in my kitchen. Jose was very nice, cleaned up when the job was done and seemed to work hard. For those reasons I would have liked to give a better rating but when I look at the details, the job is just barely adequate."
