This was probably more difficult than most jobs they do since it was inside the wall, but it was still completed in the same day along with a second job, installing a new exhaust duct for our hot water heater. We were very pleased with how well they kept the dust down. This is very dirty work, don't be deceived, but they tried to keep it down as much as possible. They helped with moving some furniture, laid down drop cloths, put up plastic to seal off the living room where they were working and cleaned up afterwards. Best price we found for doing this job. I can't speak to whether his prices are the lowest, but he doesn't charge a Franklin Mint! Good job, good price, good, hard-working crew. He made sure the job was done to our satisfaction when they completed. (I had to reschedule with him once, Chris was very gracious and accommodating) This is one of the FEW reputable contractors I have dealt with in Washington State. "<p>Chris assessed the area after a gutter overflow issue that had been ongoing for several years. Moisture entered the home through the windows that are a part of the bay window area. The siding, trim and windows had to be replaced. The interior window sill and woodwork as well as the sheet rock were damaged and had to be matched and replaced. When the area was opened up Carpenter Ants were discovered and more work had to be done to complete the repair. The damage from the carpenter ants was not anticipated and so the additional work and materials were added on.</p> <p>Chris handled every detail. He matched the molding and trim, paint, sheet rock texture, everything perfectly. The windows had to be custom ordered. He kept everything neat and tidy at the work site, picking up at the end of each day. Once he found the task would take much longer than the two days estimated, he fit the job into his schedule until all was completed. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and meticulous. Incredible craftsman work. He will leave the site better than it was originally and all of the repairs will prevent the issue arising in the future.</p> <p>I appreciate Chris' advice and input with other contractors that may be required to complete the job.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"Spoke with the provider who explained the scope of what the Big Deal included vs didn't include. Most importantly it didn't include scraping the moss off once it was dead. Provider reviewed the importance of removing the dead moss so it wouldn't create a place for new moss to grow. Provider applied treatment as scheduled and moss died for the most part. Although we weren't able to scrape it off the roof, there was 3 big wind storms that happened soon afterwards and almost all of the dead moss was blown down. We are quite pleased with this result as we are planning on replacing the roof this next year and just needed to remove the partial carpet of moss before winter. <br /> Only reason the responsiveness category is lower is that we asked for a estimate for replacing the roof in order to budget for next year and have never heard another thing despite leaving another message with reminder. <br />"

From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. The item was made, shipped and damaged in transit and they took care of details of returning item to them, dealing wiht the insurance company, correcting the issue, keeping me up to date in the process and remaking the awning and getting it back to me. House was built in 1920 and without a major remodel and $$$ that was the end of that chimney. So they moved the wood burning stove and built a totally new chimney.
