"Upon inspection by the owner, we learned that much of the original plaster had separated from the lath and would have to be replaced before it could be painted. The project would turn into a 10 day job with 3 workers laboring all day. The result was amazing and can only be described as beautiful. "During the polar vortex of 2019, we had a pipe in our basement burst. Cases of water damage were all over the north side, but Castino came out the next day to provide an assessment. Steve Small was very responsive. They were able to start the work the day after. They cut out sections of wet dry wall, removed baseboards, preventative spray for mold, and set fans. John Harvey provided estimates for installing/repairing the drywall and baseboards and repainting. They came back later to complete that work. Work was very high quality. Slobo was on-site for part of five days. As we are contemplating remodeling our basement, we just had them paint the repaired areas, but the paint matches perfectly.
