"I so wanted to move before we had to replace the roof on our circa 1960 architecturally interesting beast of a flat roof. But when we were doing what we thought were modest fixes to prepare for painting, we discovered a "squishy" roof and couldn't put it out. Thanks to suggestions from friends and info from Angi, we got 3 estimates from 3 great companies. All agreed the roof needed replaced, each suggested a different substance but all 3 prices were about the same. We worked with Tyler who educated us just enough to help us make an informed decision. What set the Frey estimate apart was they included a lower roof, gutters, new coping (we all know how these jobs seem to creep) and it was August and they said they thought they could get it done before the end of the year. Once you know you roof needs replaced, it seems like it rains every day and you want it done. He explained there were others before us, and Tammy kept us in the loop. Hand to God, in December, it was our turn. As promised, they got it done before the end of the year. I wasn't sure about having it done in December, but they worked quickly. We were updated about the schedule. It was Covid so we didn't have contact. When the snow melted we found very little roofing debris and they came out to pick up any materials that remained. We paid for everything, we were fine but then friends and neighbors pointed out the color we chose didn't work with the house. We chose white, but we didn't realize how much of the roof was roof and how much was white. I emailed my concerned, Tammy forwarded it to her people. Jason, John and Lyncs came back and were professional and kind and suggested a way to tone down the white. Again, I was updated and they replaced, covered over, I'm not sure what else and we couldn't be happier. It was our fault and we were fully prepared to pay for the extra supplies and time - but Frey Construction did it for no extra charge. Like I said, I didn't want to do a roof and I hope I never have to do a roof again. But if you need a roof, Frey is the company to go with. I felt they wanted to do a great job and wanted us to be happy and they did both of those things. A homeowner had to trust with a new roof. I don't think I'll ever see it, but I know it was done well. It's a quirky house with interesting architecture and a 50 year old roof that hasn't leaked. Previous homeowners thought about replacing it but didn't. I get it. We are so happy to have this in the rear view mirror and grateful to everyone at Frey's. Jose did a great job staying on top of all aspects for the project, from electronically signing the contract, to choosing the right material. "He was very honest and upfront and said may be 6-8 weeks before could do the roof when awarded work as was very busy. After calling on 10/2 to get update on when might do he ended up being able to do it yesterday or less than 4 weeks. I was very impressed they did job for price and in one day with full tear off finding no nails or anything left laying on ground. He is very honest person with hard working crew and was less expensive than anyone else. I could tell right away he was honest person which is so very important when getting work done on your home. The overall quality of his work is very....very..... good for a very fair price. "There are not enough positive words to say regarding our experience with Infinity Exteriors. "My home was built in 2004 with an asphalt roof. The area was always subjected to high winds and pieces of my asphalt roof were always breaking off after a few years. I live in a two story single home and frankly was getting tired and old of having to go on my roof and repair shingle panels. I looked at both asphalt and metal choices. The quotes on the asphalt would guarantee the product 25 years. This always sounds good but it would not guarantee minor shingle damage do to wind and weather. I started to investigate metal roofs and although I knew they were more expensive I also knew that it would last my lifetime and beyond. I did extensive research and made a lot of conclusions. My first piece of advice is DON'T go to your local Home Improvement store and seek out local contractors in your area that say they can do a metal roof installation but in reality never did one. There is a certain skill set involved. Secondly look at the quality of the product itself. In my case I wanted the thickest gauge and I wanted what was referred to as Standing Seam. I did not want exposed fasteners with rubber grommets that crack and could break loose in time. The company "Custom Construction Systems" gave me a honest quote which included a complete tear off and new underlayment installed. I definitely wanted that. Some of my neighbors that had lower end metal roofs installed it directly over their old asphalt roof. The product I got was true 24 gauge which is often used in industrial settings. Some of the products at the Home Improvement stores would actually add the paint thickness with the metal thickness. Keep this in mind! The advantages of metal over asphalt are hands down better. If you are environmentally concerned, metal roofing is 98% recyclable and is probably already being used from recycled metal. I was able to see homes and businesses that were done and the company and workers were very professional. My roof turned out beautiful. It was very affordable too for a high quality product and a team of workers that knew how to do metal roof installations. "Custom Construction Systems" also delt directly with the manufacturer of the product. This was a huge advantage in the cost of the project. If you do your own investigating like me you will soon find out that the manufacturers product cost is highly inflated by the distributer. Thanks for reading and good luck."

"Our home inspector recommended we have a section of our roof examined by a professional to see if we needed repairs. Nate came out to do the estimate.  He was very friendly and professional.  He examined the roof very thoroughly, even taking pictures and looking at one of the windows from the inside of the house.  He showed me the pictures and explained what he saw up there.  Within a week, he sent me an estimate.  However, he ultimately recommended that we not have any work done at this time, because it would be a huge fix for a tiny problem with no water leakage at this time.  He recommended that if we decide to re-side the house in the future, they could perform some updates on the roof at that time.  We would definitely call them again.

"Slow process (4 weeks) due to dormers, roof angles and the required "cutting to fit" but the installers did a great job of sticking with it to get it done as quickly, professionally & efficiently as possible. We were always informed by the installers as to any issues and what options & solutions were available to complete the work. It was appreciated that they asked us if we had any questions at the end of each day & summarized what the next day would entail.
