"I called Water Wells at 7:30 am and they were at my home in Columbus by 10am. They were professional and courteous. They replaced my well pump and brought my system up to code. When they finished everything I had asked them to do, I still had no water pressure. They helped me find the leak (an old frostless pump had burst and was pumping about 10 gallons a minute into the back field) and plugged it off. They were absolutely wonderful. I will hire them again if I ever need anything else with my well."

"Tech was very punctual. Clearly explained what he thought was going on. Quickly diagnosed the problem, disassembled the unit, showed me the problem, replaced the problem part. In no time at all the softener was back together. Answered all my questions, cleaned up, tested the water. Very pleased with the service. We have a Kinetico water softener and reverse osmosis system. Best investment we ever made. When I call Water Doctors I give my name and state my business. They always respond like they have my account memorized. Water Doctors makes me feel like air am their best customer. How refreshing!"

"Kyle came over and walked around, reviewing the issues and explaining options to getting the water out of the basement. His recommendation was to install a sump pump, and set up a system to pump the water out of the house. He mentioned installing additional drainage options around the window well of the leaky window. I asked about the wall in the garage that was creating the majority of the problem--how would they repair it. He mentioned a few options and stated that he needed to discuss the situation with his team and would get back to me. Took photos and measurements. Was here about an hour documenting all the issues. <br /> A week later Kyle came back with recommendations from the team. There was no mention of repairing the damaged foundation wall. I used another company that rebuilt the wall with cinder blocks and concrete, and sealed up the leaky window. No leaks. No need for a sump pump system. <br /> If you need a sump pump system, I think this company would do an excellent job. Very detail oriented. <br />"

"Arndt and Son Plumbing were great, they replaced a pump that we had and did a little bit of other work with us. They replaced a pressure tank and they replaced the pump and did a little bit of other work too. Real good, they were top notch. They were real good. Of all the people who talked to me they were the best of all the good ones."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Evansville, WI

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
