"First Class Tile is exactly what the name implies. Eddie Luca and his crew do impeccable work! Initially, Eddie came out just to quote our first floor tile job. As I walked him through the house and happened to mention the other home improvements we were planning, I was pleased to find out that he could also complete our fireplace make-over & our front porch stone work. The scope of work included: removal of existing ~1,300 sq. ft. ceramic tile/carpet, prepping and installing 1,300 sq. ft. porcelain tile, installing fireplace stone and installing porch stone. Eddie and his crew were punctual everyday for 2 weeks, professional and take pride in their work. He and his crew moved our large pieces of furniture/appliances either downstairs or into the garage. As they removed the ceramic tile, they used water to keep the dust to a minimum since we were living in the home during construction. Our job necessitated a level subfloor to ensure proper installation of the tile. Eddie and his crew had the existing flooring removed and the subfloor installed and level in 2 days! He and his crew cleaned up every day before leaving our home. He knew we would be living in the house during construction so he made it easy and accessible for us to get upstairs and into the 1st floor office (where flooring was not being redone). He and his crew even moved our large pieces of furniture back into the house upon completion of the job! Eddie is a perfectionist which shows in his work. After installing the tile and grouting, he went over the entire floor marking spots where he felt a little more grout should be added. The front porch stone installation was a small job but it needed to coordinate with the prior stone work we had completed a few years ago on the bay windows. The fireplace make-over required an experienced, talented stone mason. Eddie definitely out-did himself! The finished product is far more than we could have imagined! Eddie and his crew are an exceptional company! Eddie's talent, attention-to-detail, personable/positive demeanor and respect for our home made the 2 week flooring project (which kept my family of 4 mostly upstairs) almost pleasant! Before Eddie completed all of the work, we decided to ask him to quote the flooring for one of our 2nd floor bathrooms! He was able to complete the bathroom flooring with the same attention-to-detail and we will be contacting him to install our kitchen backsplash in the near future. "Well I checked Angie's List for a contractor in my area and found none close.After asking around my local town I was referred to this Company,which was local.I called on a Saturday and the man came out on Sunday to give a quote,to which I was surprised. <br /> He showed up at the time we had agreed and seem to be very knowledgeable in his trade.The next day he gave us a price and we decided to use him.He set up a installation date and completed our work as agreed and did a very nice job.We would be happy to use them again .They also did some light plumbing work for us which was very nice not to have to worry about finding a plumber <br />"

"<p>The installers from TJ's who do the work for Petoskey Quartz and Granite arrived ahead of schedule on the designated install day; which was a delight for us since we have eagerly awaited our new countertops.  They ran into a slight problem on the size but assured us there was no problem and there wasn't.  They shaved a small amount off in their trailer and installed the countertops.  The workers were personable, professional, and polite.  They knew their job and did it enthusiastically.  We enjoyed having them do our project for us.  </p> <p>The people at the actual showroom (especially Kathleen) were equally as easy to work with.  They helped us make wise choices and always got back with us quickly, no matter the question or issue.  We went to them based on recommendations by friends and two local businesses.  We thought we were going to have to travel down to Norton Shores to find the particular piece of granite we were looking for, but when we walked into the showroom, the very piece we wanted was right there!  Imagine our surprise and good fortune.  We had already priced the piece in Norton Shores, so we knew approximately what it would cost, but Quartz and Granite was a little less.  Again, we were pleasantly surprised. </p> <p>The day of the install, my husband returned to the showroom to pay the final bill and check to see if they might have a scrap of our granite left.  Jim needed it to line a cooktop cutout he was doing on his own.  He met one of the owners, Steve.  He really enjoyed his discussion with Steve about our kitchen remodel.  Steve was kind enough to find a scrap for us and didn't even charge us for it.  Steve did not have to do that for us, but we certainly won't forget his kindness and attention to great customer service.  When we are ready to remodel our bathrooms and replace the countertops with granite, we will go right back to Petoskey Quartz and Granite.  </p>"

"The company had the flooring that I wanted in stock. They provided samples, pictures, and a lot of useful info to help me decide on the flooring and to help in talking to installers about how to best install and finish the flooring, though they did not refer me to any local installers. Once we decided on an installer and were ready to go, we had a fairly tight timeline, which we made clear. The purchase process was easy, but unfortunately our flooring was not picked up at the warehouse on schedule for two days running, and no one notified us -- I had to call the company and get my contact to look into what was happening with our order. They provided a couple of options, and fortunately my installer was able to pick up the flooring at a local terminal, instead of us loosing several days of acclimation time over a long holiday weekend when no deliveries would be made. A lot of calls and emails were exchanged, but they did stay on top of things this time and made sure we got our flooring. The flooring was beautiful, excellent quality and very dry so that the needed acclimation time was minimized. Our installer was very happy with the quality also and the floors look amazing. While the material was not inexpensive by any means, we feel that is was really worth the investment in our home, and would be surprised if anyone else would have supplied as high a quality product for a lower price. Moreover, though it did take some time on my part, basically acting as a GC, finding and hiring an installer, materials, and making sure the material got to us, based on an initial quote we got, we believe we saved at least 25% of the total project over contracting with a local installer to handle everything."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured.
