Furniture Medic by Karen is an independent family owned and operated Servicemaster Franchise that has been serving the Northern Virginia Metro Area since 1998. The company was started in 1998 by Karen and Brad Osman and is now owned and operated by their sons Erick and Mitchell who have been involved in the business since its beginning. Furniture Medic by Karen is different than most other furniture repair and restoration companies. Our home grown company The Contractors Inc. has over 25 years of experience in the craft of kitchen and bathroom cabinet refacing. Cabinet refacing involves replacing cabinets doors, drawer fronts, and molding with a wood or MDF and covering the remaining frames in a matching material in order to give the appearance of a new cabinet. We do NOT perform painting or re-staining, and we can only repair cabinets in the process of a larger refacing project.
