"They called me to let me know their expected time of arrival. He explained what he would do and proceeded to change the the disposal. When the job was done, the work looked great, they removed the old equipment and the work area was completely clean and dry and the equipment ran smoothly and quietly. They then gave me a quote for the utility sink that was very reasonable and they could perform the work the same day. He explained in detail what he would do and it was obvious (at least from my point of view) that it would not be a simple installation to ensure it was done per code. This is where his expertise and professionalism showed through and made me feel we were in good hands. I was so very happy with their service and I was really appreciative that they went the extra mile to make sure the installed sink looked great. I would highly recommend this company and Bobby for your plumbing needs."

"Groff is probably the best backyard renovator in all of Northern Virginia. They are EXPENSIVE! But...I would use them again! You'll get absolute professionalism at all times, which is something I never got from any other contractor for such a project. They are responsive, honest, patient, and do excellent work. They also stand by their work after the project is over. This is not the typical experience where you only get a callback when it's time for a money draw or a Yelp review. The workers are all excellent, dressed in uniform, not throwing trash/smoking on your property. They even clean up their mess totally when they leave! We had a fire pit patio built, with retaining wall and lighting. A pavilion with heaters and a fan, total landscaping, and a playground area. We had numerous change orders during the course of our install and they didn't bat an eye. Highly recommended 1st class experience...if you have the bucks!"

"Ricky’s installed steps leading from our sidewalk to a lower deck. The work was outstanding. I’d provided ideas of what I wanted, and Ricky helped me make final decisions. They were patient about timing so we could get Reston Association approval prior to work beginning. Ricky’s design incorporated the size, material, and the exact look and feel we wanted. The design allowed enough space to make the steps comfortable to use and safe, all while blending gracefully into the landscape and providing a place to garden beside the steps. They also incorporated gutter extensions below the landscaping to improve drainage. The team worked efficiently and neatly. I would definitely have Ricky’s Lawn & Landscaping back for future work."

"After all the rain this summer, we experienced some significant water damage in our basement. We called AquaGuard for an estimate to resolve the issue. Chris came out and assessed the situation. He recommended starting with waterproofing the exterior to significantly improve the situation and provided details on interior waterproofing (to include a French drain) if necessary. He explained how everything would work and exactly what would be done. He showed us pictures and samples of materials. We were so impressed we signed the contract that day. The work was then scheduled through the office. Two guys showed up bright and early on the scheduled day and immediately went to work. And boy did they work! The second day some extra guys showed up for a bit to help complete the project. Everyone was very careful not to mess up the landscaping. They put everything back and cleaned up so well, you could hardly tell work had been done. Later I had some follow-up questions about what to expect and received a response right away. We are still waiting for the cement block to dry out (as we were told it would take some time) to see what we need to do next, but if and when that time comes, we will definitely be contacting AquaGuard. And while this service is rather expensive, we feel that AquaGuard provided a fair price for the work."
