Dan met with us, brought samples, assessed the damage, and proposed a refinishing solution. Since our floors run throughout, we had to move out to allow his team to refinish the floors. Upon our return home, the floors were nothing less than magnificent. The recommended Rubio Monocoat Pure Oil Plus 2C finish is great. Dan kept us informed throughout the project. The proposal and contract were thorough and cost fair. We truly appreciate their devotion to craftsmanship and professional advice. "Prospect Hardwood Flooring just completed installing 3/4 inch Oak wood floors at my house. The crew had to move heavy furniture, remove the rugs and padding, and remove tack strips. They carefully listened for areas where the subfloor squeaked when stepped on, then screwed those areas to stop the floor from squeaking. The installation from start to finish was flawless from my perspective. All joints are tight. Of particular note is the cove molding. The Miter joints are perfect, and I can't tell where the nails were placed. Cleanup was immaculate too. I've seen the negative reviews here, and I respect the opinions of the people who posted them. Clearly something happened when their jobs were done. When Mike came to my house to give me an estimate, I grilled him on those negative posts. I wanted to hear what he had to say. As one would imagine, there are always two sides to every story. If you are considering hardwood floors, you really need to get an estimate from Mike, and discuss any concerns you have. I'm so glad I did. The floors look amazing."

I really love the quality of their products, when friends or family come over they still ask if my hardwood and/or carpeting is brand néw. This year they completed the flooring in my basement. "District Floors Depot was fantastic to work with. They were patient and professional, gave us a competitive price, had a ton of wood flooring options to choose from, and installed beautiful oak and walnut floors in several rooms of our new house. I recommend going into their store to look at the selection rather than just browsing online, because they have more samples there and it's easier to see the true color of the wood in person. District Floors Depot was also flexible when there was an unforeseen power outage at our residence, and was able to reschedule us and complete the work quickly in time for our moving date. Finally, they did a really good job cleaning up and the place was gleaming and spotless after they were done. I highly recommend them!"

"Outstanding. Marcin came to the house right away and gave us an estimate. Once the insurance company paid the damage claim, we got scheduled in a week and work started right on time. He had the right sized crew of four who were able to get everything done from moving big furniture around, stripping the old flooring out and installing the new hardwood floor. The floor is beautiful and perfectly installed. They had taken photos of each room so they knew exactly where to put everything back. They finished up by giving the whole floor a good cleaning up. We hope we never need another floor replacement but have no doubt that Magniflooring is the go to place."

"I have had a lot of work done at my house lately, some positive and some negative.  My experience with D&S Flooring was 100% positive. My brother had already done some research for me, so I knew that I wanted Mohawk Smart Strand carpet.  Had also visited a carpet showroom to look at samples.
I got an estimate from another highly rated Angie's List company and D&S. With D&S, you deal directly with the owner, Masood Shojanezhad.  He is the person that comes to the house, and he gave me an estimate on the spot.  His estimate was $600 cheaper for the top level Smart Strand carpet than the estimate from the other company for the mid-level Smart Strand carpet.  Masood is an exemplary example of customer service.  He is very friendly and engaging, and it is very important to him that the customer is happy.
My carpet came in pretty quickly, especially given that they were coming from Georgia which was paralyzed by two ice storms.  I had to delay installation because of issues with other work that was being completed in my house.  Masood could not have been nicer or more understanding. 
His workers arrived on time the agreed upon day of installation. They were great workers, and the lead installer had a great sense of humor.  My brother and I had some running jokes with him throughout the day.  They worked from 9 am until around 4:30, only taking a brief break for lunch. 
They did a beautiful job.  I cannot see any seams.  My entire upstairs looks like one continuous piece of carpet.  They also brought a vacuum cleaner and vacuumed all of the carpet before moving the furniture back.  They hauled away all of the old carpet and padding.  Wish all of the recent projects in my house had gone so smoothly.  I highly recommend this company.

"Excellent! He worked with my schedule to arrange for Edwin and Steve to come out and do the repair. Since I already had the wood planks, they needed to have the appropriate thickness of plywood (?) to place beneath the replacement planks. It was outstanding work! I am very pleased with this company. No need to call anyone else -- he's my 'go to' guy for my flooring needs."

"Brian from Torres flooring reached out to me immediately after I submitted my request, and quickly gave me a quote and did the repair that day! We had a small section of our vinyl floor cut out by our previous owners to install a wooden railing. We removed the railing and needed the flooring patched with some of the flooring we had stored away. I contacted so many floor companies who said the job was 'too risky' and declined the job, or told us we needed to replace the entire floor (for like $5k). Brian was super friendly and said he could do the job no problem, understood what we needed done, and did a great job! We were seriously getting desperate and didn't know if we were ever going to get our floor fixed. HUGE thank you to Brian for the expertly rescuing our floor!"
